Position Title: Communications Specialist
Position Overview:
S2Technologies is currently seeking qualified candidates to join our team. We are currently looking for candidates who have experience providing Communications Focal Point. As a Communications Specialist, the ideal candidate will analyze network characteristics (e.g., traffic, connect time, transmission speeds, packet sizes, and throughput) and recommend procurement, removals, and modifications to network components. Designs and optimizes network topologies and site configurations. Plans installations, transitions, and cut-overs of network components and capabilities. Coordinates requirements with users and suppliers.
Experience/Responsibilities:
- consolidate all help and service desks found in a typical communications squadron, including maintenance and job control, telephone administration, the traditional network help desk and the personal wireless communications systems help desk.
- Centralize and process of gathering important data to identify issues and more efficiently execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions along with authorized service interruptions.
- support of the unit's operational mission, including support of voice and data network systems; i.e., routers, switches, servers, key systems and desktop systems, radio systems, video, and all other communications equipment and systems while maintaining performance indicator visibility in one central location.

- HS Diploma
Certifications:
- IAT Level II

- Secret Clearance Required
Salary Range:
$55,000 - $67,000
