About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and experienced Communications Coordinator for our front desk reception. The Communications Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to serve as the first point of contact for guests and employees. This role will also be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks helping to ensure smooth operations within the office.
- Greet customers, staff, and vendors with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Own and maintain a welcoming, well-organized front reception area.
- Build relationships across departments by connecting people to the right resource.
- Support daily administrative operations to keep the office running smoothly.
- You have at least two years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role.
- You are proficient in Microsoft 365 Office Suite programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- You demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- You demonstrate competency in typing, editing, and creating written correspondence.
- You have good math skills.
- You are familiar with multi-line phone systems, and triaging phone calls.
- You prioritize multiple tasks and see them through to completion.
- You have hands-on experience with office equipment including printers and mail machines.
- You are eager to learn.
- You are able to work Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4pm; and Saturdays from 7:30am to 2:30pm on occasion during our busy spring season.
- You are able to maneuver around the office and nursery, and can lift up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- You’ll earn paid vacation and sick time.
