After more than 9 years of rapid development, Blue Ocean Inc has established mature and stable automated cargo distribution and return procedures. Currently, we have distribution centers in OR, CA, DE, NH, TN, PA, and FL.
The Beaverton, Oregon, location is hiring 1 Administrative Assistant.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
- Welcome and host guests, clients, and vendors with a friendly and professional demeanor, while ensuring a clean, secure, and presentable workplace.
- Assist in managing administrative supplies and equipment, including purchasing, restocking, maintenance, and storage.
- Coordinate company activities such as team-building events and social gatherings.
- Provide support for property maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and pleasant workplace, and communicate effectively with internal and external parties regarding maintenance work.
- Coordinate with the safety committee to maintain a safe and secure environment for all employees and visitors.
- Assist with HR-related tasks.
- Other duties assigned by the supervisor.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Customer service experience (a plus)
- Logistics industry experience (a plus)
- HR experience (a plus)
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with a professional and friendly attitude; ability to work with individuals from diverse language backgrounds. English and Chinese preferred, but not required.
- Proficient in office software, including Google Drive and standard word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation tools.
- Knowledge of safety working procedures.
- Comfortable handling confidential information.
- Ability to research and learn while performing tasks.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
