INTRODUCTION
Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. Consumers across the globe need safe, transparent financing while merchants want to provide users with their preferred way to pay and convert more buyers. To help achieve this vision, we are hiring a Senior Product Manager for our 1:Many Growth team. Affirm's Distribution Partnerships program - internally called " 1:Many " - is one of the highest-leverage growth levers at the company. Instead of integrating merchant by merchant, we integrate once into a platform merchants already use, and every merchant on that platform becomes reachable through that single integration.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is responsible for:
- Own and grow Affirm's partner portfolio - making it easier and more frictionless for merchants to onboard and offer Affirm as a payment method to their customers. This includes taking product ownership of Affirm's existing vertical software partnerships, and growing the broader portfolio of platform partners still being stood up.
- Partner Acceleration Strategy - building the durable capabilities that make every future partner integration faster to launch and easier to scale, rather than solving the same problem one partner at a time.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including commercial, merchant risk, design, product analytics, and engineering to define, launch and grow integrations with platform partners. Effective stakeholder management and ability to successfully navigate organizational dynamics are a must for success. You should be outcomes-driven with a very high bias for action.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, launch, and grow integrations with payment and platform partners.
- Build durable, repeatable capabilities through a Partner Acceleration Strategy that makes future partner integrations faster to launch.
- Build relationships with platform partners to gather feedback and insights on product performance, and use it to drive merchant growth.
- Define and prioritize product features and requirements to improve the customer, partner, and merchant experience.
- Create and manage the product roadmap for the broader 1:Many growth team.
- Develop success metrics/OKRs to measure the effectiveness of these initiatives.
- Partner with commercial and product marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new partner integrations and features.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of product management experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple technical software products from kickoff to post-launch, driving meaningful business impact you can clearly articulate.
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration — diving into technical details with engineers, iterating with designers in Figma, and analyzing funnel performance with data analysts.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to navigate complex dynamics and drive alignment.
- Execution-oriented with a proactive approach to overcoming obstacles and blockers.
- Adept at transforming incomplete or conflicting inputs into clear, actionable plans.
- Demonstrated track record of shipping high-quality products on time.
- Comfortable engaging in the commercial aspects of product development, including representing the product externally, setting expectations, and influencing outcomes that benefit both Affirm and its partners.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bonus points: Experience in Fintech, Lending, ecommerce, or BNPL.

Frame your fintech growth experience precisely
Affirm's Growth PM roles sit at the intersection of financial products and consumer behavior. Highlight experience with A/B testing, funnel optimization, or payment product growth specifically, generic PM experience is harder to position against candidates with fintech backgrounds.
Confirm sponsorship scope before final interviews
Affirm sponsors multiple visa categories, but not every role or team supports every visa type. Ask the recruiter directly whether the specific Growth PM opening supports your visa category, including TN or F-1 OPT, before reaching the offer stage.
Prepare your specialty occupation documentation early
For H-1B petitions, USCIS requires evidence that the Growth PM role qualifies as a specialty occupation. Gather documentation linking your degree field to the specific technical and analytical functions of the role, not just the job title.
Understand how your OPT timeline aligns with Affirm's hiring cycles
Affirm runs structured hiring cycles for product roles. If you're on F-1 OPT, map your cap-out date against their typical offer-to-start timeline. A 60-day buffer between your start date and OPT expiration gives room for STEM OPT extension filing if needed.
Use Migrate Mate to identify open Growth PM roles at Affirm
Affirm posts Growth PM openings across multiple teams simultaneously. Use Migrate Mate to filter and track active roles at Affirm that confirm visa sponsorship, so you're applying to positions where sponsorship is already verified rather than discovering it late in the process.
Align your PERM timeline expectations with Affirm's sponsorship practices
EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through PERM typically begins after you've established yourself in the role. DOL's PERM process can take 12 to 18 months before an I-140 is filed, so factor that into your long-term immigration planning from day one.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Affirm sponsor H-1B visas for Growth Product Managers?
Yes, Affirm sponsors H-1B visas for Growth Product Manager roles. The company has a consistent track record of supporting H-1B filings for product functions, including both new petitions and transfers. If you're currently on H-1B with another employer, Affirm can initiate a transfer, which lets you start working as soon as USCIS receives the petition.
Which visa types does Affirm commonly sponsor for Growth Product Manager roles?
Affirm sponsors H-1B, TN visa, and F-1 OPT and CPT for Growth Product Manager positions, and supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for longer-term employment. TN visa is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals whose degree and role align with USMCA-listed occupations. F-1 OPT candidates should confirm their remaining authorization window covers Affirm's typical offer-to-start lead time.
How do I apply for Growth Product Manager jobs at Affirm?
Applications go through Affirm's careers portal. Growth PM roles at Affirm typically require demonstrating quantitative growth experience, comfort with financial product metrics, and cross-functional collaboration. You can browse current openings that confirm visa sponsorship eligibility through Migrate Mate, which filters Affirm's active listings to surface roles where sponsorship is already verified before you apply.
What qualifications does Affirm look for in Growth Product Manager candidates?
Affirm's Growth PM roles generally require a bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field, such as computer science, statistics, or economics, combined with hands-on experience driving growth metrics in a product or fintech context. Experience with experimentation frameworks, consumer lifecycle optimization, or payments products is particularly relevant given Affirm's buy-now-pay-later business model.
How do I plan my immigration timeline when joining Affirm as a Growth Product Manager?
Timeline depends on your current status. H-1B transfers are relatively fast since USCIS allows work to begin at receipt. F-1 OPT candidates should account for Affirm's standard onboarding timeline against their remaining work authorization. For Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3, PERM labor certification with the DOL typically takes 12 to 18 months before the I-140 petition stage, so starting that conversation early with Affirm's HR team matters.
