INTRODUCTION
Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.
The Consumer Servicing team owns the ways customers get help at Affirm — including chat, phone, self-service flows, and the internal tools our agents rely on to deliver fast, empathetic, and effective support. We sit at the intersection of customer experience, operational excellence, and AI-driven transformation.
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Agent Enablement pod: the team responsible for the tools, workflows, and AI-powered capabilities that help our agents support millions of customers with speed, accuracy, and care.
As a Senior PM, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the experience of how millions of people get help — and how our internal teams deliver it.
- Deeply understand our customers and agents—what they need, what they expect, and where they struggle—through research, data, and constant iteration.
- Champion operational excellence—work closely with our Servicing and Operations teams to streamline workflows, reduce complexity, and unlock new levels of productivity.
- Design for scale through AI and automation—identify high-leverage areas where intelligent automation can boost agent efficiency and reduce contact volume, and lead build-vs-buy evaluations for AI tooling that enhances customer and agent experiences.
- Drive an ambitious, thoughtful roadmap—identify impactful opportunities, prioritize ruthlessly, and guide execution from concept to launch and beyond.
- Translate insights into strategy—define a clear product vision informed by market trends, competitive analysis, behavioral data, and frontline feedback.
- Instrument and measure the right things—define metrics that matter, set clear success criteria, and use experimentation to drive performance improvements.
- Build for the long game—design scalable systems that can support a growing business, new contact channels, and ever-increasing expectations for speed and quality.
- Collaborate across the org—partner deeply with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Ops, Legal, and senior leaders to drive aligned, cross-functional progress.
- Own ambiguity and unlock innovation—navigate tradeoffs, bring clarity to chaos, and lead with conviction in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
What we look for
- Have 5+ years of Product Management experience.
- Build for scale and empathy—you craft intuitive experiences for both customers and agents that balance high-tech efficiency with a human touch.
- Thrive in complexity—you can zoom out to redesign service strategy or zoom in to debug an agent workflow—all in the same day.
- Lead with insight—you combine strong product intuition, behavioral understanding, and analytical rigor to uncover patterns and drive smart decisions.
- Operate with ownership—you move quickly, bring order to ambiguity, and push for outcomes that actually matter to the business and the customer.
- Communicate to drive clarity—your storytelling and synthesis skills align stakeholders, unlock buy-in, and make your roadmap resonate from the call center floor to the exec suite.
- Bonus points if you've worked on customer support platforms, internal tools, or have experience scaling service operations with AI and automation.

Frame your fintech growth experience precisely
Affirm's Growth PM roles sit at the intersection of financial products and consumer behavior. Highlight experience with A/B testing, funnel optimization, or payment product growth specifically, generic PM experience is harder to position against candidates with fintech backgrounds.
Confirm sponsorship scope before final interviews
Affirm sponsors multiple visa categories, but not every role or team supports every visa type. Ask the recruiter directly whether the specific Growth PM opening supports your visa category, including TN or F-1 OPT, before reaching the offer stage.
Prepare your specialty occupation documentation early
For H-1B petitions, USCIS requires evidence that the Growth PM role qualifies as a specialty occupation. Gather documentation linking your degree field to the specific technical and analytical functions of the role, not just the job title.
Understand how your OPT timeline aligns with Affirm's hiring cycles
Affirm runs structured hiring cycles for product roles. If you're on F-1 OPT, map your cap-out date against their typical offer-to-start timeline. A 60-day buffer between your start date and OPT expiration gives room for STEM OPT extension filing if needed.
Use Migrate Mate to identify open Growth PM roles at Affirm
Affirm posts Growth PM openings across multiple teams simultaneously. Use Migrate Mate to filter and track active roles at Affirm that confirm visa sponsorship, so you're applying to positions where sponsorship is already verified rather than discovering it late in the process.
Align your PERM timeline expectations with Affirm's sponsorship practices
EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through PERM typically begins after you've established yourself in the role. DOL's PERM process can take 12 to 18 months before an I-140 is filed, so factor that into your long-term immigration planning from day one.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Affirm sponsor H-1B visas for Growth Product Managers?
Yes, Affirm sponsors H-1B visas for Growth Product Manager roles. The company has a consistent track record of supporting H-1B filings for product functions, including both new petitions and transfers. If you're currently on H-1B with another employer, Affirm can initiate a transfer, which lets you start working as soon as USCIS receives the petition.
Which visa types does Affirm commonly sponsor for Growth Product Manager roles?
Affirm sponsors H-1B, TN visa, and F-1 OPT and CPT for Growth Product Manager positions, and supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for longer-term employment. TN visa is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals whose degree and role align with USMCA-listed occupations. F-1 OPT candidates should confirm their remaining authorization window covers Affirm's typical offer-to-start lead time.
How do I apply for Growth Product Manager jobs at Affirm?
Applications go through Affirm's careers portal. Growth PM roles at Affirm typically require demonstrating quantitative growth experience, comfort with financial product metrics, and cross-functional collaboration. You can browse current openings that confirm visa sponsorship eligibility through Migrate Mate, which filters Affirm's active listings to surface roles where sponsorship is already verified before you apply.
What qualifications does Affirm look for in Growth Product Manager candidates?
Affirm's Growth PM roles generally require a bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field, such as computer science, statistics, or economics, combined with hands-on experience driving growth metrics in a product or fintech context. Experience with experimentation frameworks, consumer lifecycle optimization, or payments products is particularly relevant given Affirm's buy-now-pay-later business model.
How do I plan my immigration timeline when joining Affirm as a Growth Product Manager?
Timeline depends on your current status. H-1B transfers are relatively fast since USCIS allows work to begin at receipt. F-1 OPT candidates should account for Affirm's standard onboarding timeline against their remaining work authorization. For Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3, PERM labor certification with the DOL typically takes 12 to 18 months before the I-140 petition stage, so starting that conversation early with Affirm's HR team matters.
