Frame credentials around project delivery scale
Aggreko's Program Manager roles center on managing large-scale temporary power and temperature control deployments. Tailor your resume to show measurable outcomes from multi-site or multi-vendor projects, not just team leadership or budget ownership in generic contexts.
Target postings tied to field operations
Aggreko frequently hires Program Managers to support rental fleet logistics and on-site customer solutions. Prioritize applications where the job description references field coordination, contractor management, or client onboarding rather than purely internal project governance roles.
Ask how Aggreko structures H-1B petitions
Some employers in industrial services file H-1B petitions through in-house counsel rather than outside immigration firms. Ask your hiring contact whether USCIS filings are managed internally or by an immigration attorney, so you understand who owns the timeline and documentation process.
Align your degree to specialty occupation requirements
For H-1B approval, USCIS requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation. Program Management at Aggreko is most defensible with a degree in engineering, operations management, or a related technical field. A business-only background without technical coursework can complicate the petition.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by sponsorship history
Searching for Program Manager openings across a large employer's career page makes it hard to separate sponsored from non-sponsored roles. Use Migrate Mate to surface Aggreko Program Manager positions where visa sponsorship is confirmed, so you're applying with full context on the role's immigration track record.

Find Program Manager at Aggreko JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Aggreko sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Yes, Aggreko sponsors H-1B visas for Program Manager roles. The role typically needs to qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards, which means your degree should align with the technical or operational scope of the position. Engineering, project management, or operations-related degrees give you the strongest foundation for a defensible H-1B petition in this function.
Which visa types does Aggreko commonly sponsor for Program Manager roles?
Aggreko sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas for Program Manager positions. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals and can be issued faster than H-1B without lottery exposure. F-1 OPT and CPT apply to students completing U.S. degree programs. H-1B remains the primary long-term option for non-TN eligible candidates.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at Aggreko?
Applications go through Aggreko's careers portal, where Program Manager openings are listed by region and business unit. Migrate Mate also aggregates Aggreko's open Program Manager roles filtered by visa sponsorship, so you can confirm sponsorship eligibility before applying. Tailoring your application to Aggreko's rental and energy services context, rather than submitting a generic project management resume, improves your chances of moving past initial screening.
What qualifications does Aggreko expect for Program Manager candidates seeking sponsorship?
Aggreko typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, or a technical discipline alongside demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects. For H-1B sponsorship, the degree-to-role alignment matters as much as years of experience. Familiarity with rental equipment logistics, field service coordination, or industrial project delivery is a practical differentiator in the hiring process.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship from Aggreko?
The H-1B cap lottery opens each March for an October 1 start date. If Aggreko extends an offer outside that window, they can file for the next available cap season, which means a potential wait of several months. Candidates on F-1 OPT can begin work while the petition is pending if their OPT remains valid. Confirm early with your Aggreko recruiter when they plan to initiate the USCIS filing process.
