Frame your credentials around insurance specialization
Partnerships roles at Alliant are evaluated on industry depth, not just business development experience. Translate your background into insurance-specific terms: broker relationships, carrier negotiations, or program underwriting exposure will resonate far more than general sales credentials.
Target regional offices with active pipelines
Alliant operates across multiple regional hubs with distinct specialty practices. Identify which office aligns with your insurance vertical, since sponsorship decisions often flow through regional leadership rather than a central HR function.
Prepare a specialty occupation argument early
For H-1B sponsorship, USCIS requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation. Document how your Partnerships Manager position requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field like finance, risk management, or business administration to support the petition.
Use Migrate Mate to identify open roles efficiently
Alliant posts Partnerships Manager openings across multiple locations at different times. Use Migrate Mate to filter and track visa-sponsoring openings at Alliant so you're applying when roles are live rather than chasing stale listings.
Align your start date around H-1B cap deadlines
If you need H-1B sponsorship, USCIS registration opens in March for an October 1 start date. Work backward from that window when negotiating your offer so Alliant's legal team has enough runway to file before the cap registration closes.

Find Partnerships Manager at Alliant Insurance Services JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Alliant Insurance Services sponsor H-1B visas for Partnerships Managers?
Yes, Alliant Insurance Services has sponsored H-1B visas for professional roles including Partnerships Manager positions. Sponsorship is evaluated case by case and depends on whether the role qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards. Candidates with a relevant degree in business, finance, or risk management are generally best positioned to support an H-1B petition for this function.
Which visa types are commonly used for Partnerships Manager roles at Alliant Insurance Services?
H-1B is the most common route for Partnerships Manager roles at Alliant, particularly for candidates already in the U.S. on F-1 OPT or CPT who need longer-term sponsorship. TN visas are also an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business or finance occupations. Each visa type has different timelines and eligibility criteria, so confirm your situation with Alliant's HR team early in the process.
What qualifications are expected for Partnerships Manager roles at Alliant Insurance Services?
Alliant typically looks for candidates with a background in insurance, financial services, or a related industry, combined with demonstrated experience building and managing broker or carrier relationships. A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is generally expected. For sponsored roles, the degree field matters for H-1B specialty occupation purposes, so a directly relevant credential strengthens your application.
How do I apply for Partnerships Manager jobs at Alliant Insurance Services?
You can find and apply for Partnerships Manager openings at Alliant through Migrate Mate, which filters job listings specifically for visa-sponsoring employers. Alliant posts roles across multiple regional offices, so checking regularly helps you catch openings as they go live. Tailor your application to the specific insurance vertical or practice area the role serves, since Alliant's partnership teams are structured around specialty lines.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship from Alliant Insurance Services?
If you're on F-1 OPT and targeting H-1B sponsorship, the key deadline is USCIS's March registration window for the annual cap lottery. An October 1 start date follows a successful selection. Build your job search and interview process to reach an offer by late February at the latest, giving Alliant enough time to register you before the window closes.
