Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Partnerships Manager Jobs at AMETEK Jobs
Align Your Background to AMETEK's Segments
AMETEK operates across electronic instruments and electromechanical devices, so tailor your resume to show partnership experience in industrial, defense, or precision manufacturing contexts. Generalist business development backgrounds are a harder sell here than vertical-specific channel or OEM experience.
Target Roles in AMETEK's Active Business Units
AMETEK posts Partnerships Manager openings across dozens of subsidiaries and divisions. Filtering by business unit, not just job title, helps you identify which divisions are actively building partner ecosystems and where international sponsorship has come through recently.
Clarify Your Visa Type Before the Final Interview
AMETEK sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and J-1 visas, but each carries different employer obligations. If you're on OPT or CPT, confirm your authorization end date and whether your timeline aligns with AMETEK's onboarding cycle before your final round.
Use Migrate Mate to Track AMETEK's Open Roles
AMETEK's Partnerships Manager openings are distributed across subsidiaries and can be easy to miss on general job boards. Search AMETEK's sponsoring history and open roles through Migrate Mate to identify which positions are actively visa-eligible and currently hiring.
Prepare for the LCA Prevailing Wage Process
For H-1B sponsorship, AMETEK's HR team must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL certifying your offered wage meets the prevailing rate for Partnerships Manager roles in your work location. Understanding this step helps you ask informed questions about timeline during the offer stage.
Document Partner-Facing Outcomes, Not Just Activities
AMETEK evaluates Partnerships Manager candidates on measurable business impact: revenue from channel relationships, co-sell program growth, or new distribution agreements. Quantifying these outcomes in your application materials strengthens both your candidacy and any future visa petition that requires demonstrating the specialized nature of the role.

Find Partnerships Manager at AMETEK JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does AMETEK sponsor H-1B visas for Partnerships Managers?
Yes, AMETEK sponsors H-1B visas, including for Partnerships Manager roles where the position requires specialized knowledge in electronics hardware markets or complex B2B partner programs. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every open role, so it's worth confirming directly with the recruiter whether a specific posting supports H-1B petitions. USCIS requires your employer to file Form I-129 on your behalf before your authorized work period begins.
How do I apply for Partnerships Manager jobs at AMETEK?
Applications go through AMETEK's careers portal, which lists openings by subsidiary and business unit. Because AMETEK is a multi-division company, the same Partnerships Manager title can appear under very different product segments. Migrate Mate aggregates AMETEK's visa-sponsoring roles in one place, making it easier to find and track openings that are confirmed to support international candidates.
Which visa types does AMETEK commonly use for Partnerships Manager roles?
AMETEK sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and J-1 visas for professional roles including Partnerships Manager positions. H-1B is the most common long-term option for non-Canadian and non-Mexican nationals. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican citizens in qualifying professional categories. F-1 OPT and CPT are typically used for candidates completing or recently finished with a U.S. degree program.
What qualifications does AMETEK look for in Partnerships Manager candidates?
AMETEK typically looks for candidates with experience managing channel, OEM, or distribution partnerships in industrial electronics, precision instruments, or related hardware sectors. A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a technical field is generally expected. Demonstrated ability to build partner pipelines, negotiate agreements, and drive co-sell revenue within complex, multi-stakeholder environments carries significant weight in the evaluation process.
How do I plan my timeline if I need visa sponsorship for a Partnerships Manager role at AMETEK?
Timeline depends on your current status. F-1 OPT holders should apply well before their authorization expires, since H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed once per year and USCIS typically begins accepting registrations in March. If you're already in H-1B status with another employer, AMETEK can file a transfer petition and you may begin work upon receipt. Confirm filing timelines with AMETEK's HR or immigration counsel early in the offer process.
