Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding New Business Development Jobs at Brex Jobs
Frame your fintech sales credentials precisely
Brex evaluates New Business Development candidates on pipeline ownership and deal complexity in financial services or SaaS. Document specific revenue outcomes, named accounts, and sales cycle length before applying so your resume reflects what their hiring team screens for.
Target Brex's mid-market and enterprise segments
Brex's open New Business Development roles skew toward mid-market and enterprise segments, not entry-level SMB sales. Prioritize roles aligned to those tiers, where visa sponsorship decisions typically sit with senior sales leadership rather than early-stage hiring managers.
Confirm your visa type fits Brex's sponsorship scope
Brex sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and EB-2 or EB-3. If you're on OPT, confirm your STEM extension eligibility before outreach, since a shorter authorization window affects how recruiters assess timeline risk for a quota-subject H-1B transfer.
Ask about sponsorship before the offer stage
New Business Development roles at financial technology companies often move quickly from final interview to offer. Raise your visa situation during the hiring manager screen, not after receiving an offer, so Brex's HR team can loop in immigration counsel without delaying your start date.
Understand H-1B cap timing relative to your offer
If you need a new H-1B cap filing, USCIS opens registration in March for an October 1 start. A role closing in Q4 may not align with that window. Discuss cap-exempt options or a deferred start with Brex's recruiter if your authorization expires before the next fiscal year.
Browse Brex roles filtered by sponsorship on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter New Business Development openings at Brex by visa type, so you only apply to positions where your specific authorization is supported. This saves time and surfaces roles that match both your sales background and your current immigration status.

Find New Business Development at Brex JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Brex sponsor H-1B visas for New Business Developments?
Yes, Brex sponsors H-1B visas for New Business Development roles. The company has a consistent pattern of sponsoring work visas across its sales and growth functions. If you're on an existing H-1B, Brex can file an H-1B transfer. If you need a new cap-subject filing, timing your offer around the USCIS March registration window is important.
How do I apply for New Business Development jobs at Brex?
Apply directly through Brex's careers page or find filtered New Business Development openings on Migrate Mate, where you can search by visa type to confirm sponsorship eligibility before applying. Tailor your application to emphasize pipeline ownership, deal size, and experience selling financial products or SaaS solutions to mid-market or enterprise clients.
Which visa types does Brex commonly sponsor for New Business Development roles?
Brex sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card pathways for qualifying employees. TN status is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible professional categories. For permanent residence, Brex uses PERM labor certification through the DOL before filing the EB-2 or EB-3 immigrant petition with USCIS.
What qualifications does Brex expect for New Business Development roles?
Brex typically looks for candidates with a background in B2B sales, financial technology, or corporate finance solutions, with demonstrated experience managing full sales cycles and closing mid-market or enterprise accounts. A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is standard. Experience with expense management, corporate cards, or treasury products is a meaningful differentiator.
How do I time my application around visa sponsorship at Brex?
If you're on F-1 OPT, apply with enough runway for Brex to complete onboarding and initiate an H-1B transfer or cap filing before your authorization expires. USCIS premium processing can reduce H-1B adjudication to 15 business days, which matters if your OPT end date is close. Align your job search to start well before your status expires, not after.
