Frame your credentials around enterprise partnerships
Brex targets candidates with experience managing B2B relationships in fintech or financial services. Before applying, document deals you've led, revenue influenced, and partner ecosystems you've built. A resume that mirrors Brex's growth-stage deal language stands out.
Understand how Brex structures H-1B sponsorship decisions
For Partnership Development Manager roles, Brex evaluates whether the position qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS criteria. Roles requiring a degree in business, finance, or a related field are stronger candidates. Come prepared to articulate how your educational background directly applies.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open Partnership Development Manager roles
Brex posts Partnership Development Manager openings across multiple channels, and timing matters when you're on a visa. Migrate Mate filters verified sponsoring employers like Brex so you can track live openings in financial services without sifting through listings from employers who don't sponsor.
Get ahead of PERM timelines if you're targeting Green Card sponsorship
PERM labor certification through DOL typically takes 12 to 18 months before an I-140 petition can be filed. If long-term sponsorship is your goal, raise it during the offer stage so Brex's immigration team can plan the filing sequence alongside your initial H-1B approval.
Prepare to demonstrate strategic deal ownership at offer stage
Brex's hiring process for this function is rigorous and often includes case studies or stakeholder scenario exercises. Coming in with documented examples of cross-functional deal execution in banking or payments significantly strengthens your position before sponsorship conversations even begin.

Does Brex sponsor H-1B visas for Partnership Development Managers?
Yes, Brex sponsors H-1B visas for Partnership Development Manager roles. The position typically qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS criteria because it requires a bachelor's degree or higher in business, finance, or a related field. Brex works with immigration counsel to manage the petition process, and candidates are expected to meet both the role requirements and USCIS eligibility standards.
How do I apply for Partnership Development Manager jobs at Brex?
Applications go through Brex's careers page, where Partnership Development Manager roles are listed under the partnerships or business development function. You can also find verified Brex openings on Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for roles at employers with active visa sponsorship programs, making it easier to identify listings relevant to your work authorization situation before you apply.
Which visa types does Brex commonly use for Partnership Development Manager roles?
Brex sponsors across several visa categories for this function, including H-1B for long-term employment, F-1 OPT and CPT for students in active programs, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying roles, and EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card pathways for candidates pursuing permanent residency. The right category depends on your nationality, education, and current immigration status.
What qualifications does Brex expect for Partnership Development Manager candidates?
Brex looks for candidates with direct experience managing strategic or channel partnerships, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or financial services. A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related discipline is standard. Familiarity with B2B deal structures, cross-functional stakeholder management, and the payments or corporate spend space strengthens your profile considerably for this function at Brex.
How do I plan my timeline when pursuing H-1B sponsorship through Brex?
The H-1B cap registration window opens each March for an October 1 start date, so timing your offer relative to that window matters. If you're on OPT with H-1B cap-gap protection, USCIS rules allow you to keep working through the transition period. Raise your visa situation early in the Brex hiring process so their immigration team can map your specific filing timeline accurately.
