Align Your CPA Credentials With Banking Standards
Centennial Bank prioritizes Accountants with credentials recognized under U.S. banking regulations. If your CPA or accounting qualification is from outside the U.S., get it evaluated through NASBA or a NACES-member service before applying.
Target Branch and Regional Finance Openings
Centennial Bank's Accountant roles are often tied to specific branch regions or its Home BancCorp structure. Searching by location rather than just job title surfaces openings that generic job boards frequently miss.
Browse Centennial Bank Roles on Migrate Mate
Centennial Bank posts Accountant openings across multiple markets. Use Migrate Mate to filter for roles at Centennial Bank that have an active visa sponsorship history, so you apply where your work authorization needs are actually a fit.
Understand How PERM Affects Accounting Timelines
Permanent residency through EB-2 or EB-3 requires PERM labor certification through DOL, which can take a year or more. Accounting roles at banks often qualify, but you need an employer willing to initiate the process well before your temporary status expires.
Prepare for Technical Screening on Banking-Specific Software
Centennial Bank uses core banking and financial systems common in community and regional banks. Familiarity with platforms like FIS or Jack Henry strengthens your candidacy and signals you can contribute without an extended onboarding ramp.
Confirm H-1B Filing Timelines During Offer Negotiation
H-1B cap-subject petitions have an April 1 filing window for an October 1 start date. When negotiating your offer, confirm with Centennial Bank's HR team whether they use an immigration counsel to manage USCIS filings and what internal lead times they require.

Does Centennial Bank sponsor H-1B visas for Accountants?
Yes, Centennial Bank has sponsored H-1B visas for Accountant roles. Accounting positions at the bank typically qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS criteria because they require at least a bachelor's degree in accounting or a closely related field. Sponsorship decisions are made on a per-role basis, so confirming sponsorship availability directly with the hiring team during the interview process is the most reliable approach.
Which visa types are commonly used for Accountant roles at Centennial Bank?
Centennial Bank has supported H-1B sponsorship for Accountants, along with F-1 OPT and CPT for students completing accounting degrees. TN visas are an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying accounting classifications. For longer-term pathways, Centennial Bank has also engaged EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for Accountant roles, which typically involves PERM labor certification through DOL.
What qualifications and experience does Centennial Bank expect for Accountant roles?
Centennial Bank generally expects a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field for Accountant positions. CPA licensure or active CPA candidacy is viewed favorably, particularly for roles involving financial reporting or audit functions within its banking operations. Familiarity with bank regulatory accounting standards, reconciliations, and general ledger systems is commonly referenced across its Accountant job postings.
How do I apply for Accountant jobs at Centennial Bank?
You can find and apply for Accountant openings at Centennial Bank through Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles with verified visa sponsorship history so you can target positions where your work authorization is a realistic fit. From there, applications typically go through Centennial Bank's internal HR team. Tailoring your resume to reflect banking-specific accounting experience, such as regulatory reporting or branch reconciliation, improves your chances of passing initial screening.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for an Accountant at Centennial Bank?
For H-1B sponsorship, the timeline depends on whether you are cap-subject. Cap-subject petitions are filed in April for an October 1 start date, meaning you could wait up to six months after receiving an offer. F-1 OPT allows you to start work sooner while the H-1B is pending. For Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3, expect a multi-year process once Centennial Bank initiates PERM with DOL.
