Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Marketing Associate Jobs at DoorDash Jobs
Tailor your portfolio to DoorDash's verticals
DoorDash marketing roles focus on merchant acquisition, consumer growth, and local market expansion. Highlight campaigns tied to performance metrics, retention, or multi-sided marketplace dynamics. Generic brand work gets filtered out faster than you'd expect.
Target roles with a clear specialty occupation tie
USCIS requires H-1B roles to qualify as specialty occupations. Marketing Associate positions that emphasize data analysis, marketing technology, or growth modeling are easier to petition for than generalist roles. Lean into quantitative or technical scope when writing your application materials.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Marketing Associate roles at DoorDash
Search Migrate Mate to filter for Marketing Associate openings at DoorDash that are flagged for visa sponsorship. This saves you from applying to roles that are open but not sponsorship-eligible, which is a common and costly mistake.
Prepare your credentials for employer verification early
DoorDash uses E-Verify for employment eligibility confirmation. Have your degree transcripts, any credential evaluations, and prior visa documentation ready before you receive an offer so the onboarding process doesn't stall during the I-9 stage.

Find Marketing Associate at DoorDash JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does DoorDash sponsor H-1B visas for Marketing Associates?
Yes, DoorDash sponsors H-1B visas for Marketing Associates. The role needs to meet USCIS's specialty occupation standard, which means the position typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field like marketing, business, or a related discipline. Roles with a quantitative or technical focus, such as growth marketing or marketing analytics, tend to have a clearer path through the specialty occupation determination.
How do I apply for Marketing Associate jobs at DoorDash?
Apply through DoorDash's careers site or browse open roles filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility on Migrate Mate. When you reach the application stage, tailor your resume to reflect DoorDash's core marketing functions, including merchant growth, consumer retention, or local market campaigns. Flag your visa status early in recruiter conversations so sponsorship eligibility can be confirmed before you invest time in multiple interview rounds.
Which visa types does DoorDash commonly use for Marketing Associate roles?
DoorDash sponsors several visa categories for Marketing Associates, including H-1B, H-1B1 (for Chilean and Singaporean nationals), E-3 (for Australian nationals), TN (for Canadian and Mexican nationals), and F-1 OPT and CPT for students. The right category depends on your citizenship. Each visa has different filing requirements and timelines, so it's worth confirming with DoorDash's recruiting team which types they actively support for the specific role you're targeting.
What qualifications does DoorDash expect for Marketing Associate roles?
DoorDash typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a quantitative field. Hands-on experience with campaign management, performance data analysis, or cross-functional project work in a technology or marketplace company stands out. Familiarity with marketing platforms and the ability to translate data into actionable strategy is valued over broad generalist experience. Prior internships or roles in consumer tech or platform businesses are commonly represented on successful applicants' resumes.
How do I handle visa timing if I receive an offer from DoorDash?
The timeline depends on your visa category. H-1B petitions are subject to an annual lottery with a filing window in April for an October 1 start, so an offer in late spring may require a gap-bridging strategy if you're on OPT. E-3 and TN visas can be processed more quickly, often in weeks rather than months. Confirm your visa type's processing timeline with DoorDash's immigration team as soon as you receive an offer to avoid a lapse in work authorization.
