About The Team
DoorDash Digital Ordering is DoorDash’s first software-as-a-service business unit – offering a suite of services across online ordering, branded mobile apps, loyalty solutions, and more that enable merchants (restaurants, grocers, retailers, etc.) to reach customers through their own first-party channels. The business is one of the fastest-growing segments within DoorDash, and yet is only scratching the surface of a generational opportunity to better serve hundreds of thousands of merchants to help them grow their business and improve working lives in one of the country’s biggest industry sectors.
About The Role
As a Manager on the Digital Ordering Strategy & Operations team, you will play a critical role in building a world-class SaaS business. You will be responsible for defining and leading key go-to-market bets and initiatives to scale our business nationwide. The ideal candidate for this role should be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, able to take ownership and create plans from scratch, and drive execution while obtaining cross-functional buy-in to achieve Digital Ordering’s strategic goals.
You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…
- Lead. You’ll drive high visibility, cross-functional workstreams that address Digital Ordering’s most unique and challenging questions
- Build. You’ll shape strategies, workstreams, and playbooks across our most important go-to-market priorities, working closely with senior stakeholders across GTM, product, marketing, and beyond
- Sell. You’ll design and influence the GTM sales motion at each stage of the sales funnel to communicate our value proposition to Merchant partners
- Operate. You’ll get to the lowest level of detail and have a deep understanding of how our go-to-market engine operates, and use that to scale
- Analyze. You’ll parse complex data sets paired with qualitative feedback to provide insights and recommendations to grow the business
We’re Excited About You Because…
- You solve problems from first principles. You rethink problems from the ground up, and resist “this is how it’s always been done” thinking.
- You are a builder at heart, and have already adopted AI tools beyond ChatGPT to meaningfully improve how you work
- You thrive leading cross-functional teams. You can empathize with diverse perspectives, chart the right path, and influence senior teammates who don’t report to you
- You’re highly analytical and find the signal through the noise. You are equally at home picking apart funnel metrics as you are pulling insights from 50+ sales calls
- You’re equally comfortable operating at 10,000 feet and 1 foot. You don’t hesitate to get in the weeds and operate at the lowest level of detail, but you’re just as comfortable thinking long-term and inspiring a team. No job is beneath you.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in high-performance cultures (whether in tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or a related experience). High-growth SaaS experience is nice-to-have, but not required
Applications for this position are accepted on an ongoing basis

Frame experience around last-mile logistics
DoorDash's supply chain work centers on delivery network optimization, not traditional manufacturing or retail logistics. Tailor your resume to show experience with demand forecasting, carrier management, or fulfillment operations rather than plant-floor or procurement-heavy backgrounds.
Confirm your visa type before applying
DoorDash sponsors multiple visa categories for Supply Chain Operations, including H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT. Knowing which category fits your situation before outreach helps you answer recruiter screening questions confidently and avoids delays at the offer stage.
Time OPT applications around DoorDash's hiring cycles
DoorDash typically ramps Supply Chain Operations hiring ahead of peak delivery seasons. If you're on F-1 OPT, apply at least three months before your authorization expires to leave room for onboarding and, if needed, an H-1B cap-subject filing in April.
Search verified sponsoring roles on Migrate Mate
Filter Supply Chain Operations openings at DoorDash by visa type on Migrate Mate to surface roles where sponsorship has been confirmed historically. This saves time you'd otherwise spend cold-applying to postings with no clear sponsorship signal.
Prepare for specialty occupation documentation early
For H-1B or E-3 sponsorship, USCIS requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation. Gather your degree transcripts and credential evaluations in advance, particularly if your supply chain degree is from a non-U.S. university or is a three-year program.
Negotiate start dates around PERM and filing timelines
If DoorDash initiates PERM-based green card sponsorship alongside your work visa, DOL processing can add months to planning horizons. Align your start date offer with enough runway for I-140 filing so your visa status doesn't lapse mid-process.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does DoorDash sponsor H-1B visas for Supply Chain Operations?
Yes, DoorDash sponsors H-1B visas for Supply Chain Operations roles. The company participates in the annual H-1B cap lottery each April for cap-subject candidates and also files for cap-exempt transfers. If you're already in H-1B status with another employer, a transfer to DoorDash typically doesn't require waiting for the lottery.
How do I apply for Supply Chain Operations jobs at DoorDash?
Applications go through DoorDash's careers portal. Before applying, use Migrate Mate to identify which Supply Chain Operations openings have a confirmed sponsorship history, then apply directly on DoorDash's site. Tailor your application to emphasize logistics network experience, data-driven operations, and any familiarity with gig economy or on-demand delivery models.
Which visa types does DoorDash commonly sponsor for Supply Chain Operations roles?
DoorDash sponsors a broad range of visa categories for this function, including H-1B, H-1B1 visa (for Chilean and Singaporean nationals), E-3 visa (for Australian nationals), TN visa (for Canadian and Mexican nationals), J-1 visa, and F-1 OPT and CPT. For longer-term sponsorship, DoorDash also supports EB-2 and EB-3 green card pathways through the PERM labor certification process.
What qualifications does DoorDash typically look for in Supply Chain Operations candidates?
DoorDash generally looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree or higher in supply chain management, industrial engineering, operations research, or a closely related field. Practical experience with logistics platforms, inventory systems, or carrier operations matters significantly. Roles often require comfort with data analysis tools, as DoorDash's supply chain decisions are heavily metrics-driven.
How do I plan my timeline if DoorDash is sponsoring my H-1B?
If you're cap-subject, USCIS opens H-1B registration in March for an October 1 start date, so plan your job search to have an offer in hand by late February. If you're on OPT, your employer can file a cap-gap extension to bridge the gap. Premium processing through USCIS reduces adjudication to around 15 business days if your start date is urgent.
