Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Supply Chain Operations Jobs at Ryder System Jobs
Align your credentials to Ryder's operations focus
Ryder's Supply Chain Operations roles typically require demonstrated experience in logistics systems, fleet coordination, or integrated supply chain solutions. Frame your resume around outcomes like cost reduction, throughput improvement, or vendor management rather than general operations tasks.
Target roles tied to managed services contracts
Ryder staffs many Supply Chain Operations positions against long-term client contracts in manufacturing, retail, and automotive. Roles supporting these verticals tend to have more stable sponsorship pathways because the headcount is tied to multi-year revenue commitments, not discretionary hiring cycles.
Search Ryder's open positions through Migrate Mate
Filter for Supply Chain Operations roles at Ryder System on Migrate Mate to surface positions where the company has actively sponsored visas for this function. This narrows your search to opportunities with a realistic sponsorship track record before you apply.
Clarify sponsorship eligibility before the offer stage
Ask your Ryder recruiter explicitly whether the role is approved for H-1B or green card sponsorship before final interviews. Some positions within their operations division are classified as exempt from sponsorship due to government contract requirements or E-Verify constraints tied to specific clients.
Prepare for PERM documentation early if targeting permanent residence
If Ryder initiates a PERM-based green card process for your role, the DOL requires demonstrating that no qualified U.S. worker is available. Start collecting performance reviews, certifications, and evidence of specialized supply chain expertise well before your employer begins recruitment advertising.
Account for H-1B cap timing in your job search calendar
Ryder files cap-subject H-1B petitions for the April 1 start date, meaning USCIS registration opens in March. If you're targeting a full-time offer, time your final interview rounds to allow your employer several weeks to prepare filing documents before the registration window closes.

Find Supply Chain Operations at Ryder System JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Ryder System sponsor H-1B visas for Supply Chain Operations?
Yes, Ryder System sponsors H-1B visas for Supply Chain Operations roles. The company has a consistent history of filing petitions in this function, particularly for positions involving logistics engineering, network optimization, and managed transportation. Sponsorship availability can vary by role and client contract, so confirming eligibility with the recruiter early in the process is advisable.
How do I apply for Supply Chain Operations jobs at Ryder System?
You can browse and apply for Supply Chain Operations roles at Ryder System directly through their careers portal or through Migrate Mate, which filters for positions where Ryder has a demonstrated sponsorship history. Tailoring your application to highlight logistics systems experience, process improvement outcomes, and familiarity with supply chain platforms relevant to Ryder's service lines strengthens your candidacy.
Which visa types does Ryder System commonly use for Supply Chain Operations roles?
Ryder System most commonly sponsors H-1B visas for Supply Chain Operations professionals. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, the company has used employment-based Green Card pathways, including EB-2 for roles requiring advanced degrees and EB-3 for positions with standard bachelor's degree requirements. The appropriate category depends on the specific role's requirements and your educational background.
What qualifications does Ryder System expect for Supply Chain Operations positions?
Ryder typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, operations management, or a closely related field. Practical experience with transportation management systems, warehouse operations, or logistics network design is valued. For senior roles, expertise in lean methodologies, S&OP processes, or multi-site operations coordination can differentiate your profile significantly.
How long does the sponsorship and hiring process take at Ryder System?
From offer to work authorization, the timeline depends on your current visa status. If you need a new H-1B, the cap registration in March and October 1 start date means planning at least six months ahead. For candidates already on H-1B who are transferring to Ryder, portability under an approved I-140 can allow you to start sooner. USCIS premium processing, which takes around 15 business days, is an option for faster adjudication.
