EPAM Systems brings together capabilities that few firms can match: AI and generative AI, cloud engineering, data and analytics, platform modernization, cybersecurity, and customer experience — all built to handle the complexity and compliance demands that define the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.
This is a role for a hunter. A relationship builder who also knows how to close. Someone who carries genuine credibility inside pharma and life sciences organizations, knows the players, understands the pressures they're under, and can walk into a room and immediately speak their language. You'll come in with a network, activate it, and grow it — while never losing your appetite for the next logo.
There's no team to manage here. What there is: a world-class services portfolio, strong internal support from some of the best engineering and consulting talent in the industry, and a real greenfield opportunity in a vertical that is in the middle of a once-in-a-generation technology transformation. If that sounds like the kind of platform you've been looking for — and you have the track record to back it up — we'd love to hear from you!
This is a remote role with approximately 25% travel to engage clients and internal stakeholders across the US.
Req# 988813151
Responsibilities
- Hunt and close net new business across pharma, biotech, medtech and life sciences accounts — new logos and expansion within existing strategic relationships
- Leverage your existing network and industry relationships to generate a pipeline from day one while continuously building new ones
- Position EPAM's full services portfolio — including AI and generative AI, cloud, data and analytics, engineering and modernization, cybersecurity and CX — as the answer to each client's most pressing transformation challenges
- Build, execute and continuously refine account plans and pursuit strategies tailored to the dynamics of life sciences enterprise buying cycles
- Engage decision-makers at every level of a client organization, from practitioner to C-suite, building the kind of trust that wins multi-year, multi-discipline engagements
- Orchestrate complex, multi-service RFP and RFI responses by pulling together EPAM's internal technical, delivery and solution experts around a compelling unified narrative
- Collaborate with EPAM's technology alliance partners — including hyperscalers and platform vendors — to identify and accelerate co-sell opportunities within your accounts
- Maintain an accurate, well-qualified pipeline and forecast with discipline — you know what's real, what's at risk and what needs attention
- Stay ahead of the market: track emerging trends in AI adoption, regulatory technology, clinical data platforms and digital R&D and bring that intelligence into every client conversation
- Build your internal network at EPAM quickly — understand the firm's capabilities, case studies and value propositions deeply enough to sell them with conviction
Requirements
- Deep, genuine expertise in the pharma and/or life sciences industry — you understand the business, the buyers, the regulatory environment and the technology pressures shaping the sector in 2026
- An established network of relationships with technology and digital leaders inside life sciences enterprises — CDOs, CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Engineering or equivalent — that you can activate
- A proven track record of hunting and closing enterprise IT services, AI or digital transformation deals — not just managing inherited accounts or responding to inbound
- Experience selling complex, multi-discipline technology engagements — consulting, engineering, cloud, data and/or AI — in a matrixed, solutions-led environment
- The ability to build a compelling transformation vision for enterprise clients and connect it credibly to delivered outcomes — you sell business value not SOWs
- Strong commercial instincts and negotiation skills — you structure deals well, protect margin and know when to push and when to flex
- Demonstrated success orchestrating pursuit teams across technical, delivery and executive stakeholders to win competitive deals
- Experience navigating and leading RFP/RFI responses with discipline — qualifying hard, resourcing appropriately and driving to win
- Comfort operating in a matrixed global organization — you build internal allies as effectively as external ones and know how to get things done without a playbook
- Familiarity with technology trends shaping life sciences: agentic AI, generative AI, clinical data modernization, regulatory-grade AI governance, digital twins and cloud-native R&D platforms
- Bilingual candidates (English/French or English/Spanish) are a plus

Translate your documentation into EPAM's language
EPAM clients span banking, healthcare, and retail technology. Frame your requirements-gathering and stakeholder documentation experience around enterprise software delivery contexts, not generic business operations. Consular officers and HR screeners both respond to precision.
Target EPAM's delivery-focused Business Analyst openings
EPAM posts Business Systems Analyst roles tied to specific client verticals and technology stacks. Filter for postings that reference Agile delivery, systems integration, or digital transformation. These reflect active client engagements where headcount approval and sponsorship budget are already confirmed.
Clarify your OPT or CPT status early in screening
If you're on F-1 OPT, tell the recruiter your authorization end date in the first call. EPAM's hiring pipeline moves through multiple technical and client interviews, and knowing your timeline upfront prevents the offer stage from colliding with your status expiration.
Understand how EPAM structures H-1B filing internally
EPAM files H-1B petitions through its in-house immigration team, not outside counsel in every case. Once you receive an offer, ask HR directly which team manages the I-129 and what their standard timeline is from offer acceptance to USCIS submission.
Verify the role meets specialty occupation requirements
USCIS requires that H-1B positions mandate at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. Business Systems Analyst roles at EPAM that require domain-specific technical knowledge, such as systems architecture or ERP integration, have a stronger specialty occupation case than generalist analyst titles.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Business Analyst roles at EPAM
Filter by visa type and company on Migrate Mate to surface active Business Systems Analyst postings at EPAM that are open to sponsorship. This lets you apply to live roles without sifting through listings where sponsorship status is ambiguous or unstated.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does EPAM Systems sponsor H-1B visas for Business Systems Analysts?
Yes, EPAM Systems sponsors H-1B visas for Business Systems Analysts. EPAM operates a structured internal immigration process and has a consistent track record of filing H-1B petitions for technical and analytical roles. Because the H-1B is subject to an annual lottery with an 85,000-cap, EPAM typically submits registrations in March for roles starting October 1 of the same year.
Which visa types are commonly used for Business Systems Analyst roles at EPAM Systems?
H-1B is the most common work visa for Business Systems Analyst roles at EPAM. The company also supports F-1 OPT and CPT for students currently enrolled or recently graduated, and TN visas for qualified Canadian and Mexican nationals. For longer-term pathways, EPAM has experience with EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process for qualifying employees.
What qualifications and experience does EPAM Systems expect for Business Systems Analyst roles?
EPAM typically expects a bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field alongside hands-on experience with requirements elicitation, user story writing, and stakeholder management in software delivery environments. Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodology is standard. Roles tied to specific client verticals, such as financial services or healthcare IT, often require domain knowledge on top of core analytical skills.
How do I apply for Business Systems Analyst jobs at EPAM Systems?
You can browse and apply for Business Systems Analyst openings at EPAM directly through Migrate Mate, which filters for roles open to visa sponsorship. After applying, EPAM's process typically includes an initial HR screen, one or more technical and case-based interviews, and a client-facing assessment for some roles. Communicating your work authorization status clearly in the first recruiter call avoids delays later in the process.
How do I know if an EPAM Business Systems Analyst role will lead to Green Card sponsorship?
EPAM has sponsored employees for Green Cards through the EB-2 and EB-3 categories, which require PERM labor certification filed with the DOL before USCIS can adjudicate the immigrant petition. Green Card sponsorship is generally offered after a period of employment rather than at the offer stage. During the offer or early employment period, ask HR directly whether the role is eligible and what the company's standard timeline looks like.
