Align your credentials to U.S. construction standards
Project Program Manager roles at Evans General Contractors typically require experience managing construction lifecycles. If your credentials are from outside the U.S., get them evaluated by a NACES-member organization before applying so your qualifications read clearly to a U.S. hiring team.
Target roles with active subcontractor oversight scope
Evans General Contractors frequently hires Program Managers to coordinate multi-party construction programs. Emphasizing experience managing subcontractors, RFIs, and schedules in your application directly maps to how they structure this function internally.
Time your application around H-1B registration windows
If you need H-1B sponsorship, USCIS opens registration in March each year with an April 1 cap-subject start date. Securing an offer from Evans before February gives your employer enough lead time to register you without rushing the process.
Ask directly about in-house versus outside counsel filing
Construction firms sometimes handle sponsorship through HR rather than dedicated immigration counsel. During the offer stage, confirm whether Evans uses an immigration attorney for I-129 preparation, since this affects how quickly your petition moves after an offer is extended.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Project Program Manager roles
Evans General Contractors lists Project Program Manager openings on Migrate Mate, where you can filter specifically for visa-sponsoring employers in construction. Search there first to find active postings and confirm sponsorship eligibility before reaching out to the company directly.

Find Project Program Manager at Evans General Contractors JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Evans General Contractors sponsor H-1B visas for Project Program Managers?
Yes, Evans General Contractors sponsors H-1B visas for Project Program Manager roles. The H-1B requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation, which project management in construction typically satisfies when the role requires at least a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field. Your employer initiates the process with USCIS after extending an offer.
How do I apply for Project Program Manager jobs at Evans General Contractors?
Browse open Project Program Manager positions at Evans General Contractors through Migrate Mate, which lists their current visa-sponsoring roles in one place. Once you identify a relevant posting, apply directly and indicate your visa sponsorship needs upfront. Tailoring your application to highlight construction program delivery experience will strengthen your candidacy before the hiring team reviews it.
Which visa types does Evans General Contractors commonly use for Project Program Manager roles?
Evans General Contractors sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and J-1 visas for Project Program Manager positions. F-1 OPT and CPT are common entry points for recent graduates, while H-1B and TN are used for longer-term employment. TN applies only to Canadian and Mexican nationals and does not require lottery selection, making it a faster path for eligible candidates.
What qualifications does Evans General Contractors expect for Project Program Manager roles?
Most Project Program Manager positions at Evans General Contractors require a bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a closely related field, along with demonstrated experience overseeing construction programs from pre-construction through closeout. Familiarity with scheduling tools, subcontractor coordination, and project controls is commonly expected. For H-1B sponsorship specifically, USCIS requires the role to have a clear degree requirement tied to a specific field.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Project Program Manager offer from Evans General Contractors?
Timeline depends on visa type. TN status for Canadian nationals can often be obtained at a port of entry the same day an offer is finalized. H-1B standard processing runs three to five months after USCIS filing, with premium processing cutting that to 15 business days for an additional fee. F-1 OPT authorization is filed with your DSO and typically takes three to five months from application to card receipt.
