Target technical and engineering roles
Gordian's sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical disciplines tied to electronics and hardware. Prioritize roles in engineering, product development, and hardware design, these align most closely with the specialty occupation requirements that support H-1B petitions.
Understand which visa types Gordian supports
Gordian sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and Green Card pathways. Knowing which visa fits your situation before applying lets you frame your eligibility clearly and avoids wasted time on roles the company won't support for your category.
Highlight hardware-specific technical expertise
In Electronics & Hardware hiring, niche technical depth matters more than breadth. Demonstrating hands-on experience with relevant hardware systems, embedded software, or circuit design signals you can contribute immediately, which strengthens the business case for sponsorship.
Ask about Green Card pathways during the offer stage
Gordian has sponsored permanent residency for employees, not just temporary work visas. If long-term status matters to you, the offer negotiation stage is the right time to ask whether the company supports EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship for the role.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified open roles
Searching broadly wastes time on employers with no real sponsorship history. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, making it easier to find current Gordian openings where sponsorship is a confirmed option.
Apply early in the H-1B registration window
If you're targeting Gordian for H-1B sponsorship, timing matters. Gordian is an active sponsor, and engaging with their recruiting team well before the March registration window gives both sides time to assess fit and complete the petition process without rushing.
