Tailor your resume to hardware program delivery
Gordian's Project Manager roles center on electronics product lifecycles, supply chain coordination, and cross-functional engineering teams. Frame your resume around hardware-specific milestones, BOM management, and NPI processes rather than generic project delivery experience.
Target open roles that list cross-functional scope
Gordian posts a substantial number of Project Manager openings at any given time. Prioritize listings that explicitly reference hardware development, vendor management, or operations alignment, since those roles signal broader team investment and stronger sponsorship appetite.
Understand TN eligibility if you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship
Project Managers can qualify for TN status under the 'Management Consultant' category, but the role description must reflect advisory or analytical scope, not pure task execution. Review the DOL's occupational criteria and align your offer letter language accordingly before crossing the border.
Ask directly about H-1B filing timelines during the offer stage
USCIS H-1B cap registration opens each March for an October 1 start date. If Gordian extends an offer in Q4 or Q1, clarify whether they'll file a cap-subject petition or bridge you on OPT until the next cycle, so you're not caught in a status gap.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Gordian Project Manager openings by visa type
Searching broadly across job boards won't surface which Gordian roles are actively open to sponsored candidates. Use Migrate Mate to filter Project Manager listings at Gordian by the visa types they sponsor, so you apply only where your immigration status is already accounted for.

Find Project Manager at Gordian JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Gordian sponsor H-1B visas for Project Managers?
Yes, Gordian has a history of sponsoring H-1B visas for Project Manager roles. If you receive an offer, your employer will need to file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before submitting the H-1B petition to USCIS. For cap-subject cases, the filing window opens each March for an October start date, so offer timing matters.
Which visa types are commonly used for Project Manager roles at Gordian?
Gordian sponsors several visa categories for Project Managers, including H-1B, F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates, TN for Canadian and Mexican citizens, and EB-2 or EB-3 for candidates pursuing permanent residence. The right pathway depends on your citizenship, degree field, and career stage. Discussing your situation directly with Gordian's HR team during the offer process will clarify which route applies to you.
What qualifications or experience does Gordian expect from Project Manager candidates?
Gordian's Project Manager roles in electronics and hardware typically require experience managing complex, cross-functional programs with engineering and operations teams. Familiarity with product development cycles, supply chain coordination, and vendor management is commonly referenced in their postings. A PMP certification or equivalent experience in hardware NPI programs can strengthen your application, particularly for senior-level openings.
How do I apply for Project Manager jobs at Gordian?
You can apply directly through Gordian's careers page. To find roles that are actively open to visa sponsorship, use Migrate Mate to browse Project Manager listings at Gordian filtered by your visa type. This saves time by surfacing only the positions where your immigration status is already a fit, rather than discovering sponsorship limitations late in the process.
How do I plan my timeline if I'm waiting on H-1B sponsorship from Gordian?
USCIS opens H-1B cap registration in March each year, with an October 1 employment start date if selected. If Gordian makes an offer outside that window, you'll need a bridge strategy, such as remaining on F-1 OPT or STEM OPT until the next cap cycle. Confirm early whether the role qualifies for cap-exempt filing through a qualifying research institution, which would remove the October timing constraint entirely.
