Align your credentials to PMP standards
Hilton's Program Manager postings frequently reference PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials. Having yours current before applying strengthens your petition, since USCIS scrutinizes whether the role genuinely requires a specialized degree.
Target Hilton's corporate and brand teams
Program Manager openings at Hilton cluster in corporate functions like technology, development, and brand operations rather than individual properties. Filtering your search to McLean, VA or regional hub postings surfaces the roles most likely to include sponsorship.
Understand H-2B limitations for this role
Hilton's H-2B filings cover seasonal hospitality workers, not salaried program management professionals. If a recruiter mentions H-2B for a Program Manager position, clarify whether H-1B or another dual-intent category is the actual pathway being pursued.
Use Migrate Mate to filter sponsoring Program Manager roles
Not every Hilton Program Manager posting will lead to sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Hilton roles where visa sponsorship is confirmed, so you're not investing application effort in positions that won't support your status.
Prepare your employment history for LCA prevailing wage review
Before Hilton files an H-1B petition, DOL requires a Labor Condition Application certifying your offered wage meets the prevailing rate for your location and role level. Document your prior compensation clearly so your employer's legal team can position the LCA accurately.
Account for H-1B cap timing in your offer negotiation
If you're outside the U.S. or not currently H-1B exempt, your start date must align with USCIS's October 1 cap-subject start. Raise this with Hilton's HR team during the offer stage so your onboarding timeline is built around the filing window, not against it.

Find Program Manager at Hilton JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Hilton sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Hilton does sponsor H-1B visas, and Program Manager roles in corporate functions are among the positions where sponsorship has been extended to international candidates. These roles typically require a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, which supports the specialty occupation classification USCIS requires for H-1B approval. Sponsorship is not automatic, so confirming it directly with the recruiter early in the process is essential.
Which visa types are commonly used for Program Manager roles at Hilton?
H-1B is the primary visa category for Program Manager positions at Hilton, as these roles require specialized knowledge and a qualifying degree. H-2B visas, while associated with Hilton's broader workforce, are designed for temporary non-agricultural seasonal workers and are not applicable to salaried Program Manager roles. Candidates already holding L-1 or O-1 status may also be eligible depending on their background and the specific role.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at Hilton?
Applications go through Hilton's careers portal, where Program Manager roles are listed under corporate and functional departments. To find positions that include visa sponsorship, use Migrate Mate to filter Hilton's open Program Manager roles by sponsorship status. Tailoring your resume to emphasize project delivery scope, cross-functional stakeholder management, and hospitality industry context improves your chances of moving past initial screening.
What qualifications does Hilton expect for Program Manager candidates?
Hilton's Program Manager roles typically require a bachelor's degree in business, hospitality management, information technology, or a related field, along with several years of demonstrated program or project management experience. PMP certification is frequently referenced in job postings. Experience managing multi-site initiatives or technology implementations in a hospitality or large-scale service environment is a meaningful differentiator, particularly for roles tied to brand operations or digital transformation projects.
How do I plan my timeline if Hilton is sponsoring my H-1B?
If you're subject to the H-1B cap, USCIS opens registration in March, with selections made shortly after and approved petitions taking effect October 1. Hilton would need to file your petition in April following a successful lottery selection. Build at least six months of lead time into your job search, and discuss start date flexibility with your hiring manager before signing an offer letter.
