Overview
Intuit is on a mission to power prosperity around the world. Within our Mid-Market segment, we are building the next-generation ERP platform that defines how growing and complex businesses operate in an AI-native world. To win in Mid-Market, we must deliver vertical editions — differentiated, defensible products purpose-built for specific, complex industries.
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to own Intuit's Healthcare vertical. This is a 0-1 opportunity; healthcare is a greenfield space for us, and this product manager will define what winning looks like. You will translate the complexity of healthcare provider and services operations into a compliance-ready, AI-native product roadmap that makes Intuit the operating backbone of mid-market healthcare businesses.
Responsibilities
-
Define the multi-year product vision for the Healthcare vertical edition within the Intuit Enterprise Suite (IES).
-
Identify the highest-impact workflows for healthcare providers, billing services, and healthcare-adjacent businesses — and build a roadmap that solves them better than any competitor.
-
Develop and maintain the Healthcare "Command Center" vision: the go-to operating system for healthcare business owners and CFOs.
-
Prioritize ruthlessly across compliance, AI automation, and workflow innovation to deliver a roadmap that wins customers and drives retention.
-
Own Intuit's Healthcare compliance posture for the vertical — HIPAA readiness, billing requirements (CPT/ICD coding integrations), and regulatory reporting workflows.
-
Partner with Legal, Privacy, and Security to ensure the product meets the evolving regulatory requirements of healthcare providers without sacrificing user experience.
-
Translate compliance constraints into product opportunities: make compliance a competitive moat, not a cost center.
-
Deeply understand the operational pain points of mid-market healthcare businesses: medical practices, dental groups, outpatient facilities, healthcare staffing, and related services.
-
Build and maintain a network of reference customers, design partners, and industry SMEs to ground the roadmap in real-world workflows.
-
Synthesize qualitative and quantitative signals (customer interviews, usage data, win/loss analysis) into product decisions with clear business outcomes.
-
Partner with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and GTM to take features from concept to GA with speed and quality.
-
Define and track OKRs aligned to Healthcare vertical revenue, retention, and customer satisfaction.
-
Represent the Healthcare vertical in MPR, planning cycles, and executive reviews — communicating progress, risks, and asks clearly.
-
Identify and evaluate strategic integrations with healthcare-specific 3rd party tools (EHR/EMR systems, billing platforms, payroll providers) that create a "1+1=3" value proposition.
-
Work with VARs, accounting partners, and healthcare industry influencers to scale market presence and awareness.
-
Act as Intuit's external voice for the Healthcare vertical at key industry events and with press and analysts.
Qualifications
-
10+ years in product management, with at least 2 years in B2B SaaS, ERP, or a complex platform product.
-
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree (MHA, MBA, or MPH) a plus.
-
Domain expertise in healthcare operations, medical billing, or healthcare technology — you deeply understand the operational complexity of mid-market healthcare businesses.
-
Track record of owning a 0-1 product build or new market entry, from discovery through GA.
-
Comfort operating in a compliance-heavy environment; you know how to ship fast without creating regulatory risk.
-
Strong customer empathy and qualitative research skills — you can run a discovery interview, synthesize 20 customer calls into a crisp insight, and translate that into a roadmap decision.
-
Data fluency: comfortable with SQL, dashboards, and quantitative analysis to validate decisions.
-
Executive presence and written communication skills to represent the vertical with senior leadership.

Frame Your PM Portfolio Around Fintech Outcomes
Intuit evaluates product managers on measurable business impact, not just process ownership. Restructure your portfolio to show revenue influence, retention improvements, or platform growth for financial or tax software products before you apply.
Confirm LCA Postings Before Accepting an Offer
Intuit must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before your H-1B or E-3 petition is submitted. Search the DOL OFLC disclosure database for Intuit LCA filings to understand prevailing wage levels for product management roles in Mountain View, San Diego, or New York.
Target Intuit Roles That Cross Business Units
Intuit hires product management managers across TurboTax, QuickBooks, Credit Karma, and Mailchimp. Cross-platform roles that require ecosystem thinking tend to advance faster through sponsorship approval because they're harder to fill domestically and carry stronger specialty occupation arguments.
Use Migrate Mate to Surface Sponsorship-Verified Openings
Intuit posts product management roles across multiple channels, but not all indicate visa sponsorship availability. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Manager, Product Management positions at Intuit where sponsorship has been verified, so you're not pursuing dead ends.
Request H-1B Cap-Exempt Filing If You're Already Sponsored
If you're transferring to Intuit from a university, nonprofit, or cap-exempt employer, your H-1B transfer may bypass the annual lottery entirely. Confirm with Intuit's immigration team whether your current employer status qualifies you for a cap-exempt petition through USCIS.
Start OPT Extension Paperwork Before Your Offer Closes
F-1 candidates in STEM OPT extension windows have up to 24 months of additional work authorization, which gives Intuit time to file an H-1B during the next cap season without a gap. Initiate your STEM OPT extension through your DSO at least 90 days before your initial OPT expires.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Intuit sponsor H-1B visas for Manager, Product Managements?
Yes, Intuit sponsors H-1B visas for Manager, Product Management roles. The role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation because it requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field such as computer science, engineering, or business. Intuit's immigration team works with candidates through the petition process, though sponsorship is confirmed at the offer stage, not during early-round interviews.
How do I apply for Manager, Product Management jobs at Intuit?
You can apply directly through Intuit's careers site or find sponsorship-verified openings through Migrate Mate. Intuit's product management interview process typically includes a recruiter screen, a hiring manager conversation, and a structured loop covering product strategy, cross-functional leadership, and analytical problem-solving. Preparing examples tied to Intuit's specific product lines, such as QuickBooks or TurboTax, strengthens your candidacy significantly.
Which visa types does Intuit commonly sponsor for Manager, Product Management roles?
Intuit sponsors several visa categories for product management managers, including H-1B, E-3 visa (for Australian citizens), TN visa (for Canadian and Mexican nationals), F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. The right visa depends on your nationality and current status. E-3 visa and TN visa are often faster to process than H-1B because they aren't subject to the annual cap and lottery.
What qualifications does Intuit expect for Manager, Product Management roles?
Intuit generally expects a bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field, with an MBA viewed favorably for senior management tracks. For visa sponsorship purposes, your degree must align with the role's specialty occupation requirements under USCIS standards. Beyond credentials, Intuit prioritizes demonstrated experience leading cross-functional product teams, managing roadmaps in complex platforms, and influencing without direct authority across engineering, design, and data functions.
How do I time my application around H-1B sponsorship at Intuit?
H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed once per year, with USCIS accepting registrations in March for an October 1 start date. If you're on F-1 OPT, the 60-day grace period after employment ends gives you limited runway, so targeting Intuit roles three to six months before your OPT expires reduces risk. Intuit can also file for premium processing through USCIS to get a decision within 15 business days, which matters if your start date is time-sensitive.
