Overview
The Intuit Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG) is responsible for generating over half of Intuit’s global revenue. Flagship brands include QuickBooks and Mailchimp, and our vision is to power SMB prosperity globally by delivering our AI-enabled 'all-in-one' platform in one place for small and mid-sized businesses to run and grow their business, from lead to cash, with a virtual team of AI-enabled agents and human experts.
The roll out of a more powerful, platform-backed Quickbooks across 100+ countries last November marked a pivotal milestone, and it also proved something critical: while tax codes, regulations and languages change at the border, the fundamental needs of small businesses do not. No matter the location, our customers need to get paid, manage capital, and find customers.
The International Product Organization, part of the GBSG, is seeking a dynamic Principal Product Manager to lead our International Platform and AI strategy, driving global scale, local market relevance, to expand our global footprint and unlock the next generation of global growth through world-class platform-based and AI-first customer experiences. This role requires a seasoned product leader with a strong ability to drive cross-functional and senior stakeholder alignment, exceptional ability to identify and execute high impact opportunities, with a strong customer and product sense, and a deep understanding of how to build and scale platform-based offerings across international markets.

Align your portfolio to Intuit's product domains
Intuit organizes product development around TurboTax, QuickBooks, Credit Karma, and Mailchimp. Frame your resume and interview answers around lifecycle ownership, agile delivery, and metrics-driven decisions in fintech or consumer software contexts.
Confirm E-3 eligibility before applying
Australian citizens can pursue the E-3 visa for this role if the position qualifies as a specialty occupation. Intuit sponsors E-3s, so confirm your degree field maps directly to product management before your first recruiter call.
Request sponsorship confirmation in the screening call
Ask the recruiter directly whether the specific Product Development Manager requisition is approved for visa sponsorship. Some open roles at large tech employers are headcount-restricted and sponsorship approval varies by business unit and budget cycle.
Prepare for PERM delays if pursuing a Green Card
If you accept an offer and want long-term status, ask Intuit's immigration team how early they initiate PERM labor certification. For roles with high applicant volume like product management, the DOL audit risk can extend the timeline meaningfully.
Use Migrate Mate to target open roles by visa type
Filter Intuit's Product Development Manager openings by the visa categories you hold or need. Migrate Mate surfaces roles from employers with active sponsorship histories, so you spend time on applications that are actually viable for your situation.
Document cross-functional leadership for your I-129 petition
When your employer files Form I-129, USCIS scrutinizes whether a Product Development Manager role genuinely requires a specialized degree. Gather offer letters, org charts, and project documentation showing technical depth, not just coordination responsibilities.

Does Intuit sponsor H-1B visas for Product Development Managers?
Yes, Intuit sponsors H-1B visas for Product Development Manager roles. The company has an in-house immigration team that manages the H-1B cap lottery registration each March and handles the full I-129 petition process. Because product management is treated as a specialty occupation requiring a relevant bachelor's degree or higher, these roles generally meet the USCIS threshold for H-1B eligibility.
How do I apply for Product Development Manager jobs at Intuit?
Apply through Intuit's careers portal or through Migrate Mate, which filters open Product Development Manager roles by visa sponsorship availability. Tailor your application to Intuit's specific product lines. The process typically involves an initial recruiter screen, a hiring manager interview focused on product thinking and execution, and a panel round with cross-functional stakeholders before an offer is extended.
Which visa types does Intuit commonly sponsor for Product Development Manager roles?
Intuit sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT or CPT for Product Development Manager positions. Australian citizens often use the E-3 pathway given its absence of a lottery. Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify under TN. For longer-term sponsorship, Intuit also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways through PERM labor certification.
What qualifications does Intuit expect for Product Development Manager candidates?
Intuit typically looks for a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related technical field, plus meaningful experience owning a product from discovery through launch. For USCIS H-1B purposes, the degree must relate directly to the role. Experience with agile frameworks, data-driven roadmap decisions, and cross-functional leadership in a software or fintech environment strengthens both your application and the specialty occupation argument.
How do I time my H-1B application if I receive an offer from Intuit?
H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed once per year, with USCIS opening registration in March for an October 1 start date. If you receive an offer outside that window, Intuit may be able to employ you on OPT, CPT, or another interim status while you wait for the next cycle. Confirm with Intuit's immigration team early so there are no gaps in your work authorization.
