Align your credentials with engineering PM standards
Jedson operates in technical consulting environments where a PMP certification or equivalent project management credential carries real weight. Ensure your resume reflects experience managing engineering deliverables, budgets, and cross-functional teams rather than general operational management.
Research Jedson's DOL PERM filings for this role
Jedson has filed PERM labor certifications for Project Program Manager positions before. Searching DOL's FLAG system under this job title lets you confirm the minimum requirements Jedson has formally documented, which gives you a benchmark for your own qualifications before applying.
Target Jedson's OPT-eligible openings during your grace period
If you're finishing an F-1 program, apply to Jedson's open Project Program Manager roles before your 60-day grace period begins. Jedson has sponsored F-1 OPT and CPT for this function, and starting the conversation early gives your employer time to file before your authorization lapses.
Clarify TN eligibility before your first interview
Canadian and Mexican nationals in engineering or management science disciplines can qualify for TN status, which Jedson has sponsored for this function. Confirm with USCIS guidelines that your specific degree field maps to an eligible TN category before raising sponsorship in any offer discussion.
Negotiate sponsorship terms at the offer stage not after
Jedson's consulting structure means project billing and headcount costs are closely managed. Raise your visa sponsorship needs during the offer conversation, not after signing, so that EB-2 or EB-3 PERM timelines can be factored into your onboarding plan from the start.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Jedson's open PM roles
Jedson posts Project Program Manager openings across multiple locations and project tracks. Use Migrate Mate to filter Jedson's active listings by visa type so you can prioritize roles where sponsorship for your specific situation has already been confirmed as available.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Jedson Engineering sponsor H-1B visas for Project Program Managers?
Jedson Engineering's primary sponsorship pathways for Project Program Manager roles are EB-2, EB-3, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visa rather than H-1B visa. If H-1B sponsorship is your goal, discuss this directly with Jedson's HR team during the offer stage, as consulting firms assess H-1B sponsorship on a case-by-case basis depending on project requirements and staffing structure.
How do I apply for Project Program Manager jobs at Jedson Engineering?
You can browse and apply for Project Program Manager openings at Jedson Engineering through Migrate Mate, which filters active roles by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm eligibility before applying. When applying, tailor your resume to reflect engineering project delivery experience, technical client management, and any relevant certifications such as PMP, as these align with Jedson's consulting-focused hiring criteria.
Which visa types does Jedson Engineering commonly use for Project Program Manager roles?
Jedson Engineering has sponsored Project Program Managers through F-1 OPT and CPT for early-career candidates, TN status for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying degree fields, and EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card pathways for longer-term hires. The right visa category depends on your citizenship, educational background, and where you are in your immigration journey.
What qualifications does Jedson Engineering expect for Project Program Manager positions?
Jedson typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical discipline, meaningful experience managing project scope, schedules, and budgets in a consulting or engineering services environment, and strong client communication skills. A PMP certification strengthens your application. For sponsored roles, your degree field must also support the visa category being filed, particularly for PERM-based Green Card pathways where DOL reviews minimum requirements.
How do I plan around the timeline for Green Card sponsorship at Jedson Engineering?
EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through Jedson requires a PERM labor certification filed with the DOL, which typically takes six to twelve months before USCIS petition filing even begins. Priority date backlogs for applicants born in India can extend total timelines significantly beyond that. Raise Green Card sponsorship intent early in the offer process so Jedson can plan filings around your project assignments and billing structure.
