Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Project Manager Jobs at Justworks Jobs
Frame your PMP credentials for compliance-heavy environments
Justworks operates in payroll and benefits administration, where regulated timelines matter. Highlighting experience managing projects with audit trails, SOC 2 compliance, or financial reporting cycles directly signals fit for their product and operations teams.
Target roles across product and implementation tracks
Justworks posts Project Manager openings across multiple functions, including product delivery and client onboarding. Applying narrowly to one track reduces your options. Review each job description carefully to match your background to the specific team's workflow.
Search open Project Manager roles on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters job listings by visa sponsorship type, so you can find Justworks Project Manager openings that match your specific status, whether you're on OPT, H-1B, or TN, without sorting through roles that won't sponsor.
Start OPT applications well before your authorization window closes
F-1 students have a 60-day grace period after OPT expires, not 60 days to find a job. If Justworks extends an offer, your employer's I-983 or I-9 verification via E-Verify must be completed before your authorization end date, not after.
Clarify the H-1B sponsorship timeline at the offer stage
USCIS H-1B registration opens in March with an October 1 start date. If you receive an offer outside this window, confirm with Justworks HR whether they'll file in the next registration cycle or support a cap-exempt or change-of-status option in the interim.
Build a case for specialty occupation before your petition is filed
USCIS scrutinizes Project Manager H-1B petitions more than engineering roles. Document that your duties require a specific bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related field, not just general management skills, to strengthen the specialty occupation argument.

Find Project Manager at Justworks JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Justworks sponsor H-1B visas for Project Managers?
Yes, Justworks sponsors H-1B visas for Project Manager roles. Because the H-1B requires demonstrating specialty occupation status, your application will be stronger if your role is tied to a specific technical or analytical function rather than generalist project coordination. Work with Justworks HR early to confirm the job description supports the specialty occupation requirement before USCIS filing.
Which visa types does Justworks support for Project Manager roles?
Justworks sponsors H-1B visas for skilled workers and supports F-1 OPT and CPT for students. TN visas are available for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. For longer-term paths, Justworks has supported EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for employees transitioning from temporary status, subject to PERM labor certification requirements through the DOL.
How do I apply for Project Manager jobs at Justworks?
Applications go through Justworks' careers portal. Before applying, review the job description closely to identify which team you'd be supporting, such as product, operations, or client implementation, since each has different scope expectations. You can browse open Project Manager roles at Justworks filtered by sponsorship type on Migrate Mate, which makes it easier to identify listings aligned with your visa status.
What qualifications does Justworks expect for Project Manager candidates?
Most Justworks Project Manager roles expect a bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related field, along with demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects end to end. For H-1B purposes, the degree field matters, so a background in an unrelated discipline may require additional documentation. Experience with agile delivery, SaaS environments, or compliance-driven workflows strengthens your profile for their HR tech context.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship from Justworks?
USCIS H-1B registration runs in March each year, with approved petitions taking effect October 1. If you receive an offer in the fall or winter, you could be looking at six or more months before your status begins. Discuss with Justworks HR whether OPT, a cap-exempt employer bridge, or another interim authorization can cover that gap so your start date aligns with your work authorization.
