Align your credentials with FCC-regulated roles
Communications positions in telecom often require familiarity with FCC compliance, RF systems, or network infrastructure. Documenting relevant certifications and technical coursework strengthens your profile before you apply, especially for roles that touch licensed spectrum or regulated infrastructure.
Target field operations and dispatch communications roles
Mobile Communications America staffs heavily for roles that coordinate two-way radio, fleet dispatch, and field technician support across regional markets. Focus your search on these operational functions, where hiring volume is higher and sponsorship decisions are driven by filling persistent staffing gaps.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by visa type
Mobile Communications America posts Communications openings across multiple regions at once. Migrate Mate lets you filter these by the visa types the company has sponsored, so you spend time only on positions where your work authorization is a realistic fit.
Clarify your OPT or CPT timeline early in interviews
If you're on F-1 OPT, bring up your authorization end date before the offer stage. Mobile Communications America has sponsored F-1 OPT and CPT candidates, but the hiring team needs lead time to coordinate with HR on STEM extension eligibility or the next sponsorship step.
Understand how PERM timing affects EB-2 and EB-3 paths
For employment-based Green Card sponsorship, the employer files a PERM application with DOL before USCIS can process the immigrant petition. This process typically takes over a year end to end, so confirm internally whether the role has budget and headcount approval for a multi-year sponsorship commitment.
Confirm TN eligibility before accepting a Canadian or Mexican offer
TN status applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupations. If you're pursuing a Communications role at Mobile Communications America under TN, verify with USCIS guidance that your specific job title and duties fall within a listed TN occupation category before your employer initiates paperwork.

Find Communications at Mobile Communications America JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Mobile Communications America sponsor H-1B visas for Communications roles?
Mobile Communications America's sponsorship activity for Communications roles has centered on employment-based Green Card pathways (EB-2 and EB-3) and F-1 OPT rather than H-1B. If H-1B sponsorship is your primary need, confirm directly with the hiring team whether the specific role you're applying for is being considered for H-1B filing, since sponsorship decisions are made at the position level.
How do I apply for Communications jobs at Mobile Communications America?
Start by browsing open Communications roles on Migrate Mate, where you can filter positions by visa type to find openings that match your work authorization. Once you identify a role, apply through the company's careers portal and flag your sponsorship needs early in the recruiter screening call, before the offer stage.
Which visa types does Mobile Communications America commonly use for Communications hires?
Based on its sponsorship history, Mobile Communications America has supported F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and employment-based Green Card categories (EB-2 and EB-3) for Communications roles. F-1 candidates are often brought on during or after their practical training period, while Green Card sponsorship typically follows a period of full-time employment.
What qualifications are expected for Communications roles at Mobile Communications America?
Most Communications openings at Mobile Communications America are tied to telecommunications operations, so relevant backgrounds include communications technology, electrical engineering, or IT. Hands-on experience with two-way radio systems, dispatch platforms, or field service coordination is valued. Familiarity with FCC compliance or RF infrastructure gives candidates a practical edge in the review process.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Communications role at Mobile Communications America?
Timeline depends heavily on visa type. F-1 OPT authorization is already in place when you're hired, so no additional USCIS filing is needed initially. TN status can be obtained at a port of entry for qualifying candidates. EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card sponsorship involves PERM labor certification with DOL followed by an I-140 petition with USCIS, a process that typically spans one to two years or longer depending on your priority date.
