Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Engineering Program Manager Jobs at Teradyne Jobs
Align your credentials to hardware program delivery
Teradyne's Engineering Program Manager roles center on bringing test equipment and semiconductor systems to market on schedule. Frame your resume around cross-functional hardware development cycles, not just project coordination, so hiring managers immediately connect your background to their delivery model.
Target programs tied to Teradyne's product lines
Teradyne's active hiring clusters around its Semiconductor Test and Robotics divisions. Researching which product programs are currently scaling helps you apply to roles with genuine headcount pressure, which correlates with faster offer and sponsorship decisions than roles backfilling attrition.
Verify your OPT or CPT timeline before accepting an offer
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your remaining authorized period covers the onboarding and H-1B cap filing window. USCIS requires the H-1B petition to be filed before your OPT expires, and Teradyne's HR team will need several weeks of runway to complete the LCA with DOL first.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open roles by visa type
Teradyne posts Engineering Program Manager roles across multiple job boards, but not all listings surface sponsorship eligibility. Use Migrate Mate to filter Teradyne openings by the visa types they actively file for, so you spend time only on roles where sponsorship is confirmed.
Prepare a PERM-ready employment history early
For Green Card sponsorship via EB-2 or EB-3, Teradyne's immigration counsel will need a complete, verifiable employment history for the PERM labor certification. Gaps in documentation, especially for roles held outside the U.S., are a common source of delays. Compile official records before discussions begin.
Clarify sponsorship scope during the offer stage
Teradyne sponsors multiple visa categories, but which types apply to a specific role can vary by business unit and location. Ask your recruiter directly whether the role covers H-1B cap filing, TN eligibility if applicable to you, and whether the position has a Green Card sponsorship pathway.

Find Engineering Program Manager at Teradyne JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Teradyne sponsor H-1B visas for Engineering Program Managers?
Yes, Teradyne sponsors H-1B visas for Engineering Program Manager roles. The company has a consistent record of filing H-1B petitions for technical program management positions across its hardware and semiconductor test divisions. Sponsorship is not automatic for every opening, so confirming visa support with the recruiter during early conversations is the right move.
How do I apply for Engineering Program Manager jobs at Teradyne?
Applications go through Teradyne's careers portal at teradyne.com, where roles are listed by division and location. For visa-sponsored openings specifically, Migrate Mate aggregates Teradyne's Engineering Program Manager listings and filters by sponsorship eligibility, which saves time if you need to confirm a role supports your visa type before applying.
Which visa types does Teradyne commonly use for Engineering Program Manager hires?
Teradyne files for H-1B visas as the primary pathway for full-time Engineering Program Manager hires. The company also supports F-1 OPT and CPT for candidates transitioning from student status, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying roles, and EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for longer-term employees pursuing permanent residence.
What qualifications does Teradyne expect for Engineering Program Manager roles?
Teradyne's Engineering Program Manager positions typically require a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field, with hands-on experience managing hardware product development programs. Familiarity with semiconductor test systems, cross-functional team leadership, and structured program delivery frameworks like PMP or Agile strengthens a candidate's profile for these roles significantly.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take at Teradyne?
The timeline runs from Labor Condition Application filing with DOL, which takes roughly seven business days under standard processing, through USCIS adjudication of the H-1B petition, which takes several months under regular processing or two to three weeks with premium processing. Cap-subject petitions have an April 1 filing window, so offer timing relative to that date determines whether you wait up to 18 months for an October 1 start.
