Frame your credentials around solution selling
TK Elevator's sales roles focus on long-cycle B2B deals with contractors and property developers. Translate your experience into quantifiable outcomes, such as contracts closed or accounts grown, before you apply. Generic sales resumes won't stand out here.
Research active construction markets TK Elevator targets
TK Elevator pursues business in high-growth metro areas with heavy commercial and residential construction activity. Identify which regional offices align with your background and tailor your outreach to district-level hiring managers, not just the central HR portal.
Clarify your visa category before the offer stage
TK Elevator sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, and TN visas for this function. Know which category applies to you and be ready to explain your current status and authorized work period clearly when compensation discussions begin, so nothing slows the offer timeline.
Use OPT strategically to demonstrate value first
If you're on F-1 OPT, starting in a sales role before the H-1B filing window lets you build a track record at TK Elevator. Employers filing H-1B petitions with USCIS are more confident sponsoring candidates who've already delivered results internally.
Understand the LCA requirement before your start date
Before USCIS can approve an H-1B petition, TK Elevator must file a certified Labor Condition Application with the DOL confirming the offered wage meets prevailing levels for your work location. Delays here can push back your start date, so confirm the LCA timeline with your recruiter early.
Browse open roles using Migrate Mate to filter by sponsorship
Sales Business Development openings at TK Elevator are spread across multiple U.S. markets and rotate frequently. Use Migrate Mate to filter for TK Elevator roles by visa type and location so you're applying to positions where sponsorship is actively offered, not just historically possible.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does TK Elevator sponsor H-1B visas for Sales Business Developments?
Yes, TK Elevator sponsors H-1B visas for Sales Business Development roles. If you're already working there on F-1 OPT, the company can file an H-1B visa petition with USCIS on your behalf during the annual cap season. Roles with direct revenue responsibility and a qualifying degree in business, engineering, or a related field typically satisfy the specialty occupation standard required for H-1B approval.
Which visa types are commonly used for Sales Business Development roles at TK Elevator?
TK Elevator sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas for this function. F-1 CPT is relevant if you're completing a degree program with a co-op or internship component. TN status applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business or engineering categories. H-1B is the most common long-term path for full-time employment after graduation.
What qualifications does TK Elevator expect for Sales Business Development roles?
TK Elevator typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, combined with B2B sales experience in construction, real estate, or a related industry. Familiarity with the elevator or building systems market is an advantage. Strong territory management skills and comfort with long sales cycles are consistently prioritized across regional hiring.
How do I apply for Sales Business Development jobs at TK Elevator?
You can apply through TK Elevator's careers portal directly, or browse current openings filtered by visa sponsorship type on Migrate Mate. Because Sales Business Development roles open across multiple U.S. regions at different times, checking regularly and applying to the specific district or territory that matches your background improves your chances of reaching the right hiring team.
How do I manage the timeline between my OPT expiration and an H-1B filing at TK Elevator?
H-1B cap petitions are filed with USCIS in April for an October 1 start date. If your OPT expires before October 1 and you have a STEM degree, a 24-month STEM OPT extension can bridge the gap. Without STEM eligibility, you'd need to ensure your OPT end date falls after October 1, or discuss a Cap-Gap period with TK Elevator's HR team to confirm continued authorization.
