Align Your Credentials to Insurance Licensing Requirements
USI expects Business Account Executives to hold or quickly obtain a state Property and Casualty insurance license. Confirm your eligibility to sit for the exam as a visa holder before applying, since licensure timelines can affect your start date.
Target USI Offices in High-Hiring Markets
USI operates regional hubs across the U.S. and Business Account Executive openings are concentrated in specific markets. Research which branch locations are actively posting roles, since sponsorship decisions are made at the regional level alongside corporate HR.
Frame Your Book of Business as a Sponsorship Asset
Demonstrating an existing client network or industry vertical expertise, such as commercial real estate or construction, directly addresses USI's revenue-focused hiring model and makes the sponsorship investment easier for a hiring manager to justify internally.
Clarify Visa Type Eligibility Before Your Final Interview
USI sponsors multiple visa categories for this role. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your STEM extension eligibility or remaining OPT duration with your DSO before the offer stage, since a short authorization window can complicate the employer's filing decision.
Negotiate Start Date Around DOL and USCIS Processing Windows
Once USI extends an offer, your start date must account for Labor Condition Application certification from the DOL, which typically takes seven to ten business days, plus USCIS adjudication time. Build this into your offer conversation proactively.
Use Migrate Mate to Surface Active USI Openings
Business Account Executive positions at USI are posted across multiple locations and close quickly. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for USI roles that match your visa type, so you're applying to verified sponsorship-eligible openings rather than guessing from general job boards.

Find Business Account Executive at USI Insurance Services JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does USI Insurance Services sponsor H-1B visas for Business Account Executives?
USI Insurance Services does not have a strong track record of H-1B sponsorship for Business Account Executive roles specifically. The company more commonly sponsors candidates through visa categories such as E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT for this function. If H-1B sponsorship is a requirement for your situation, raise it directly with the recruiter early in the process to confirm before investing significant time in the application.
Which visa types are commonly used for Business Account Executive roles at USI Insurance Services?
USI Insurance Services has sponsored Business Account Executive candidates under E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and J-1 visa categories. E-3 is available exclusively to Australian citizens, while TN applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals under the USMCA. F-1 OPT is commonly used by recent graduates in their post-study work authorization period. The right category depends on your nationality and current immigration status.
How do I apply for Business Account Executive jobs at USI Insurance Services?
Applications go through USI's careers portal, where Business Account Executive roles are listed by region and specialty. Before applying, confirm that the posting is open to sponsored candidates, since not every listing explicitly states this. Migrate Mate filters USI openings by visa type, which helps you identify sponsorship-eligible roles before submitting your application.
What qualifications and experience does USI Insurance Services expect for Business Account Executive roles?
USI typically looks for candidates with a background in commercial insurance, employee benefits, or risk management, along with demonstrated client-facing experience. A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is standard. Holding or being eligible to obtain a state insurance license is a practical requirement for the role, since you cannot legally transact insurance without one.
How do I understand the visa sponsorship timeline for a Business Account Executive offer at USI Insurance Services?
The timeline depends on your visa category. For E-3 or TN, the process from offer to authorization can move within a few weeks, since neither requires USCIS lottery selection. For F-1 OPT, your existing work authorization allows you to start immediately while any follow-on sponsorship is processed. In all cases, your employer must complete a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before filing any nonimmigrant work visa petition.
