Frame Your Insurance Credentials for U.S. Standards
If you hold professional designations from outside the U.S., document how they align with recognized U.S. equivalents like CPCU or CIC. USI hiring managers for partnership roles expect candidates to speak the language of U.S. insurance carriers and broker networks from day one.
Target USI's Regional Office Hiring Pipelines
USI staffs Partnership Development Managers across dozens of regional offices, not just a central hub. Check open roles by metro area rather than nationally, since sponsorship decisions are often made at the regional level where hiring volume is concentrated.
Verify the Role Qualifies as a Specialty Occupation
USCIS requires that sponsored roles demand at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. For Partnership Development Manager positions, a degree in business, finance, or risk management typically satisfies this, but confirm the job description reflects degree-specific duties before signing anything.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Partnership Roles by Sponsorship History
Search Partnership Development Manager openings at USI Insurance Services on Migrate Mate to see which roles are currently listed and filter by the visa types USI has sponsored. This narrows your applications to positions where sponsorship is a realistic conversation.

Does USI Insurance Services sponsor H-1B visas for Partnership Development Managers?
USI Insurance Services has not established a strong pattern of H-1B sponsorship for Partnership Development Manager roles. The visa types USI has sponsored for this function lean toward E-3 and TN categories, which have no lottery and faster processing. If H-1B is your only path, discuss this directly with USI's recruiter before investing time in later interview rounds.
Which visa types are commonly used for Partnership Development Manager roles at USI Insurance Services?
The visa types USI Insurance Services has sponsored for this role include E-3 (available to Australian citizens), TN (available to Canadian and Mexican nationals under USMCA), and F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates. J-1 sponsorship has also occurred. E-3 and TN are the most practical options given their employer-friendly processing and absence of annual caps or lotteries.
What qualifications and experience does USI Insurance Services expect for Partnership Development Manager roles?
USI typically looks for candidates with a background in insurance brokerage, carrier relations, or financial services sales. A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is standard for visa eligibility purposes. Demonstrated experience managing broker or carrier partnerships, a working knowledge of commercial lines or employee benefits, and existing relationships within the insurance distribution channel strengthen your candidacy significantly.
How do I apply for Partnership Development Manager jobs at USI Insurance Services?
Browse current Partnership Development Manager openings at USI Insurance Services on Migrate Mate, where listings are filtered by visa sponsorship history so you can identify roles relevant to your work authorization. Once you identify a target role, apply through USI's careers portal and note your visa category in your cover materials. Proactively flagging sponsorship needs early avoids delays once you reach the offer stage.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Partnership Development Manager at USI Insurance Services?
Timeline depends on your visa category. E-3 and TN sponsorship can move in weeks once an offer is signed, since both are processed at a U.S. consulate or port of entry without USCIS filing. F-1 OPT requires USCIS to issue a new EAD card, which takes several weeks. Build at least 60 to 90 days of lead time into your start date negotiation to account for document preparation and any employer legal review.
