Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Marketing Jobs at USI Insurance Services
Frame your credentials around insurance marketing specifics
USI operates as a brokerage, so highlight any experience in regulated-industry marketing, financial services content, or compliance-adjacent campaigns. Roles at insurance firms often require navigating disclosure rules, so showing that awareness strengthens your application before interviews begin.
Target regional offices with open marketing headcount
USI's marketing function is distributed across business lines and regional hubs, not just a central team. Search by location and division to find offices actively building marketing capacity, which signals where sponsorship conversations are most likely to move forward quickly.
Use Migrate Mate to filter for sponsorship-confirmed Marketing roles
Not every USI job listing flags visa sponsorship explicitly. Use Migrate Mate to surface Marketing openings at USI Insurance Services that align with your visa type, so you're only investing time in roles where sponsorship is already on the table.
Align your visa type to the role timeline early
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT expiration date before applying. USI would need to initiate a status change or E-Verify enrollment before your work authorization lapses, so surfacing your timeline in initial recruiter conversations avoids last-minute complications.
Ask directly about the LCA filing process during offers
For E-3 and TN sponsorships, the employer files a Labor Condition Application with DOL before the visa can be issued. Confirm that USI's HR or legal team has handled this before for Marketing roles, so there are no delays once an offer is extended.
Prepare a portfolio that reflects multi-channel insurance campaigns
USI's marketing needs span broker recruitment, client retention, and product campaigns across commercial and personal lines. A portfolio showing email, content, and digital work across longer B2B sales cycles maps directly to how insurance marketing teams operate and accelerates the hiring decision.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does USI Insurance Services sponsor H-1B visas for Marketings?
USI Insurance Services' primary sponsorship activity for Marketing roles has been through visa categories like E-3, F-1 OPT, TN, and J-1 visa, rather than H-1B visa. H-1B sponsorship is not confirmed for Marketing at USI based on available filing data. If H-1B is your pathway, it's worth clarifying directly with the recruiter before progressing through the process.
How do I apply for Marketing jobs at USI Insurance Services?
Applications go through USI's careers portal on their website, where you can filter by function and location. When applying, tailor your resume to insurance marketing specifically, referencing any experience in regulated industries, B2B campaigns, or financial services content. Mention your visa status and sponsorship needs in your cover letter or early in recruiter outreach to avoid misaligned expectations later in the process.
Which visa types does USI Insurance Services commonly use for Marketing roles?
Based on USI's sponsorship history for Marketing, the visa types most associated with this function are E-3 (for Australian citizens), F-1 OPT and CPT (for international students completing U.S. degrees), TN (for Canadian and Mexican nationals), and J-1 (for exchange visitors). Each has different employer obligations, so confirm with USI's HR team which types they're prepared to support for the specific role you're targeting.
What qualifications and experience does USI Insurance Services expect for Marketing roles?
Marketing roles at USI typically require a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, along with demonstrated experience in campaign management, content development, or digital marketing. Given USI's position as a large insurance brokerage, familiarity with B2B marketing cycles, CRM platforms, and compliance-aware content is a clear advantage. Roles closer to the commercial insurance side may also expect experience with longer sales funnels and broker-facing communications.
How do I find Marketing jobs at USI Insurance Services that offer visa sponsorship?
Job listings don't always state visa sponsorship availability upfront, which makes targeted searching difficult. Migrate Mate lets you browse Marketing openings at USI Insurance Services filtered by visa type, so you can focus only on roles where sponsorship is already indicated. This saves time compared to applying broadly and discovering sponsorship limitations after multiple interview rounds.
