- Partner with hiring managers and HR leadership to understand staffing needs, position requirements, hiring priorities, and recruiting timelines.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies designed to attract qualified candidates in competitive labor markets.
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, community outreach, employee referrals, recruiting events, job fairs, and other recruiting channels.
- Proactively build and maintain candidate pipelines for frequently hired and difficult-to-fill manufacturing positions.
- Screen applications and resumes to identify candidates whose skills and experience align with position requirements.
- Conduct initial candidate interviews and provide qualified candidate recommendations to hiring managers.
- Coordinate interviews and maintain timely communication with candidates and internal hiring teams throughout the recruiting process.
- Support recruiting efforts for warehouse, maintenance, production, skilled-trades, and related manufacturing positions.
- Participate in and coordinate job fairs, hiring events, community recruiting initiatives, and other talent-acquisition activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate information, recruiting activity, interview documentation, and hiring records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Support consistent recruiting and hiring practices in accordance with company policies and applicable employment requirements.
- Monitor recruiting activity and communicate hiring progress, candidate pipeline status, and recruiting challenges to HR leadership.
- Deliver a professional, responsive, and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Manage multiple open positions and recruiting priorities while maintaining accuracy, urgency, and attention to detail.
- Support additional recruiting, onboarding, and HR initiatives as business needs require.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of manufacturing recruiting experience required.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting and hiring hourly production employees.
- Experience recruiting for warehouse, maintenance, skilled-trades, and manufacturing positions.
- Experience with candidate sourcing, recruiting events, and job fairs.
- Experience managing the full recruiting lifecycle independently.
- Previous experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Strong sourcing and candidate-pipeline development skills.
- Strong interviewing and candidate-assessment skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple openings and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work with urgency while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Ability to develop productive working relationships with hiring managers, HR partners, candidates, and community recruiting resources.

Compliance Specialist Jobs in San Antonio: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a compliance specialist job in San Antonio?
Focus on San Antonio's heaviest-hiring sectors: healthcare systems anchored in the Medical Center, financial institutions and insurance carriers downtown, and defense contractors and federal agencies clustered near Joint Base San Antonio. Candidates who combine a relevant undergraduate degree with hands-on experience in regulatory auditing, risk assessment, or policy documentation stand out. Familiarity with healthcare privacy rules or federal contracting requirements gives a clear edge in this market.
Which companies hire compliance specialists in San Antonio?
Employers hiring compliance specialists in San Antonio right now include University Health, BASIS.ed, and BioBridge Global, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. San Antonio's employer mix skews toward large hospital systems, regional banks and credit unions, military-adjacent contractors, and utility and energy companies, all of which maintain active compliance functions.
Are there remote compliance specialist jobs in San Antonio?
Yes, though availability depends on the role type. Desk-based work such as policy review, regulatory reporting, and data privacy compliance is routinely offered remotely, while on-site roles in healthcare or defense contracting typically require a physical presence. About 0% of compliance specialist openings tied to San Antonio are remote or hybrid as of September 2026. Financial services and insurance roles tend to offer the most remote flexibility locally.
How can I get a compliance specialist job in San Antonio with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in San Antonio is through administrative or analyst roles inside healthcare systems or credit unions, where compliance teams regularly promote from within. Look for titles such as compliance coordinator, regulatory affairs assistant, or audit associate at organizations like USAA, the South Texas region's hospital networks, or community banks headquartered downtown. Completing a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager exam or a CAMS certification while in an entry role accelerates promotion to full specialist positions.
Which industries hire the most compliance specialists in San Antonio?
The sectors hiring the most compliance specialists in San Antonio are Education, Distribution & Wholesale, and Healthcare & Medical Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. San Antonio's concentration of military installations, large hospital networks, and a growing financial services hub creates sustained compliance demand across those industries that outpaces most comparably sized Texas cities.
