CCI Construction is growing, and we're looking for a motivated Project Engineer to join our heavy civil construction team in Central New York. If you're looking for an opportunity to work alongside experienced construction professionals while building roads, bridges, utilities, site development, and other critical infrastructure projects, we'd like to meet you.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional who wants hands-on experience managing complex construction projects from start to finish.
Compensation
· $75,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience

What You'll Do
· Support Project Managers and Superintendents with daily project operations.
· Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
· Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
· Monitor project budgets, quantities, and production.
· Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
· Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with estimating as needed.
· Participate in project meetings and maintain accurate project records.
· Help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
What We're Looking For
· Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
· 1–3 years of experience in heavy civil construction preferred (internships and co-op experience will also be considered).
· Strong organizational and communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with construction software is a plus.
· Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
