Who's Hiring
Consultant Jobs in Colorado Springs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a consultant job in Colorado Springs?
The strongest hiring comes from defense and government contractors clustered near Peterson Space Force Base and Fort Carson, healthcare systems anchoring the north and central city, and IT services firms in the Briargate and downtown corridors. Candidates with security clearances, healthcare operations experience, or technology implementation backgrounds stand out. Networking through the Colorado Springs Chamber and local industry groups also opens doors that job boards alone do not.
Which companies hire consultants in Colorado Springs?
Colorado Springs consultant roles are posted by HDR, AT&T, and CarMax and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. The local employer mix skews heavily toward defense primes, regional health systems, and managed IT services firms with a strong presence in the Pikes Peak corridor.
Are there remote consultant jobs in Colorado Springs?
Yes, though it depends on the specialization: analytical, strategy, and technology consulting roles tend to be remote-friendly, while on-site roles in facilities, operations, or government work typically require in-person presence. About 0% of consultant openings tied to Colorado Springs are remote or hybrid as of November 2026. Tech and management consulting positions in the Briargate area are among the most likely to offer flexible arrangements.
How can I get a consultant job in Colorado Springs with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path locally is through junior analyst or associate consultant roles with defense contractors or regional IT firms, which often hire graduates and career changers willing to pursue a security clearance. Healthcare systems like UCHealth and CommonSpirit also bring on entry-level process improvement or operations associates. Volunteering with Colorado Springs nonprofits or local government projects builds a portfolio of advisory work that makes early applications more competitive.
