Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Plantscaping & Blooms is seeking an organized, creative, and customer-focused Account Manager & Marketing Content Creator to join our team. This unique role combines account and project coordination with hands-on marketing and social media content creation.
About Plantscaping & Blooms
At Plantscaping & Blooms, we create beautiful, engaging environments through plants, creative design, seasonal décor, and related services. Our team works collaboratively to bring projects to life—from the initial concept and design through installation and ongoing service—while creating positive and memorable experiences for our clients.
We’re a hands-on, service-focused company where creativity, attention to detail, teamwork, and strong client relationships are central to what we do.
About the Role
You’ll work closely with our Sales and Design team to help move projects from sale through successful installation, while serving as a key point of communication for existing clients. You’ll also help tell the Plantscaping & Blooms story by capturing and creating engaging content that showcases our people, projects, and services.
What You’ll Do
Account & Project Support
- Coordinate client projects, installations, service changes, renewals, and ongoing account needs.
- Communicate regularly with clients and internal teams to keep projects organized and on track.
- Prepare and maintain estimates, contracts, design boards, purchase information, and other project documentation.
- Attend select client meetings and site visits and assist with gathering project information.
- Research products and vendors and coordinate ordering needed for project fulfillment.
- Help resolve client concerns and identify opportunities to strengthen customer relationships.
Marketing & Content Creation
- Create and manage social media content for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Capture photos and visual content during installations, project completions, company events, and other opportunities.
- Collaborate with our marketing partners and internal departments on campaigns and content.
- Maintain consistent brand standards across digital platforms.
- Assist with website content, project photography, award submissions, and other marketing initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of professional experience, preferably in account management, customer service, project coordination, or a related role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Creative eye and an interest in social media, photography, design, or content creation.
- Comfortable working directly with clients and collaborating across departments.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience working with business/ERP systems.
- Associate’s degree in administration or a related field preferred.
- Horticulture, interior/exterior design, or other creative experience is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving history, and proof of insurance required.
This is primarily an office-based position with approximately 20% travel to customer sites. Candidates should be comfortable occasionally working around warehouse and installation environments and be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs.
If you’re equal parts organized account manager and creative storyteller—and enjoy seeing projects come together from behind the scenes to the final reveal—we’d love to hear from you.

Content Specialist Jobs in Ohio: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a content specialist in Ohio?
Content specialist roles in Ohio require no state-issued license or registration, so the path runs through education and portfolio. Most Ohio employers expect a bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, or marketing. Building a portfolio of published or project-based work is the practical entry requirement. Ohio's concentration of healthcare systems, universities, and financial institutions means candidates who can demonstrate industry-specific writing, whether for regulated industries or technical audiences, move to the top of shortlists.
Which companies hire content specialists in Ohio?
Employers hiring content specialists in Ohio right now include SpaceBound, Express, and MAZZELLA, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Ohio's mix of large hospital systems, insurance headquarters, and consumer goods companies means content roles appear across a wide range of industries and team sizes.
Which Ohio cities have the most content specialist jobs?
Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati have the most content specialist openings in Ohio. Columbus leads because it is home to major corporate headquarters in insurance, retail, and technology, while Cleveland's concentration of hospital systems and professional services firms drives consistent demand, and Cincinnati's consumer goods and financial sector employers add a strong base of content roles in the southwest of the state.
Are there remote content specialist jobs in Ohio?
Yes, and more than most fields, because content creation and editing are desk-based tasks that translate well to remote environments. About 50% of content specialist openings tied to Ohio are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how broadly distributed content work has become. Writing, editing, and SEO strategy roles are the most commonly offered remotely, while content roles requiring on-site collaboration with creative or product teams tend to stay hybrid.
How can I get hired as a content specialist in Ohio with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is building a portfolio through freelance projects, campus publications, or volunteer content work for Ohio nonprofits and local organizations, then applying for coordinator or associate content roles. Large Ohio employers such as healthcare systems and universities frequently post entry-level communications associate or content coordinator positions that do not require prior professional experience. Moving laterally from adjacent roles in social media, marketing assistant, or editorial assistant positions is also a common route, and candidates who can show SEO awareness alongside writing samples consistently stand out.
Where can I find and apply to content specialist jobs in Ohio?
You can find and apply to content specialist jobs in Ohio on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from employers across the state. Search the roles available, find the ones that match your experience and location, and apply directly to each one.
