ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This job plans and coordinates all strategic business operations and outreach for their respective service line, including ambulatory, outpatient, inpatient and post acute settings. Plans and directs operations, strategy, growth initiatives, and quality performance and monitoring, as well as regulatory compliance across their departments throughout the organization. Strategy, growth, cost reduction efforts, new innovative programs and models, as well as human resource planning, internal and external communications, and understanding of industry trends are required role functions. This leader should maintain programs and monitoring of referral performance, financial reviews, and outreach clinics across our geographical locations.

Education
- Required - Bachelor's Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or healthcare related field
- Preferred - Master's Master's Degree Healthcare, Business Administration, or healthcare related field
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Required - 10 years in successfully managing complex healthcare and patient care delivery systems
- Preferred - less than 1 year Experience in respective clinical service area, LEAN process improvement, and Physician Management
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
- Computer skills and dexterity for data entry and retrieval of patient information, proficient in Windows style applications and keyboard.
- Solution focused for all customers including patients, providers, and employees.
- Ability to evaluate and interpret financial information in order to create action.
- Ability to persuade, lead through influence, set a vision, and build an effective team.
JOB DUTIES
- Ensures quality of care and patient satisfaction measured by division performance reviews, accreditation regulatory compliance, and patient advocacy scores.
- Builds and engages workforce through leadership, talent development and collaborative employee relationships.
- Oversees research, education, and training to support cutting edge patient care services.
- Ensures strategic development, growth, financial and operational profitability of the Service Line/Center of Excellence.
- Develops and achieves long term strategic business plans through effective relationship building, communication, planning and fundraising.
- Oversees the physical and technological infrastructure and develops organizational structures, programs, and processes.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible. NOTE: The constant stress and strain of maintaining a production rate pace, especially in an industrial setting, can be and is physically demanding of a worker even though the amount of force exerted is negligible.
Normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid or tissue and as part of their employment, incumbents are not called upon to perform or assist in emergency care or first aid.
The incumbent has no occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases.
Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.
