Corporate Paralegal Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a corporate paralegal in Florida?
The most direct path is completing an ABA-approved paralegal studies program at a Florida college or university, then pursuing the Florida Registered Paralegal designation offered through The Florida Bar. While Florida does not require a state license to work as a paralegal, the Florida Registered Paralegal credential signals verified competency to employers. Most corporate paralegal roles also expect familiarity with Florida corporate statutes and transactional document preparation before hiring.
How much do corporate paralegals make in Florida?
Corporate paralegals in Florida earn a median of about $61,000 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $38,830 for the lowest 10% to over $83,410 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire corporate paralegals in Florida?
Employers hiring corporate paralegals in Florida right now include Jobot, JP firm, and L3Harris, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Florida's concentration of regional headquarters, financial institutions, and large healthcare systems means corporate legal departments hire with regularity throughout the year.
Which Florida cities have the most corporate paralegal jobs?
Aventura, Melbourne, and Clearwater have the most corporate paralegal openings in Florida. Miami leads because of its dense concentration of multinational corporations, private equity firms, and major law firms like Greenberg Traurig and Bilzin Sumberg, while Tampa and Orlando draw demand from regional headquarters, healthcare systems, and a growing technology sector.
Are there remote corporate paralegal jobs in Florida?
Yes, and more than many legal roles because corporate paralegal work is largely document-driven and does not require a physical courtroom presence. About 33% of corporate paralegal openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of September 2026. Entity management, contract review, and securities compliance work are the specialties most commonly offered on a remote or hybrid basis.
How can I get hired as a corporate paralegal in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point is a paralegal studies certificate or degree followed by a junior paralegal or legal assistant role at a large Florida law firm or in-house legal department. Firms like Greenberg Traurig and Holland and Knight run new-graduate associate paralegal programs in their Florida offices, and many healthcare systems such as AdventHealth hire entry-level contract administration coordinators who transition into corporate paralegal work. Earning the Florida Registered Paralegal designation early gives candidates a concrete credential that offsets limited work history.
Where can I find and apply to corporate paralegal jobs in Florida?
You can find and apply to corporate paralegal jobs in Florida on Migrate Mate, which lists current Florida openings. Search the listings for roles that match your experience and specialty, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
