Customer Insights Analyst Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a customer insights analyst in Florida?
Most customer insights analyst roles in Florida require a bachelor's degree in marketing, psychology, business analytics, statistics, or a related field. There is no state-issued license specific to this role in Florida. Employers in Miami, Tampa, and Orlando typically look for candidates with hands-on experience in survey research, CRM platforms, and data visualization tools, along with a portfolio of past analysis projects or academic work demonstrating actionable insight generation.
How much do customer insights analysts make in Florida?
Customer insights analysts in Florida earn a median of about $75,450 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $38,830 for the lowest 10% to over $130,570 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire customer insights analysts in Florida?
Employers hiring customer insights analysts in Florida right now include Unified Women’s Healthcare, Balfour Beatty, and Fresh Del Monte, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of October 2026. Florida's mix of large retail headquarters, cruise and hospitality brands, regional health systems, and financial services firms means demand for this role is spread across several distinct industries rather than concentrated in one sector.
Which Florida cities have the most customer insights analyst jobs?
Florida, Tampa, and Jonesville have the most customer insights analyst openings in Florida. Miami leads because of its dense concentration of financial services, retail, and consumer brand headquarters, while Tampa's growing tech and healthcare sectors drive consistent demand, and Orlando's hospitality, theme park, and tourism industries generate ongoing need for consumer behavior research.
Are there remote customer insights analyst jobs in Florida?
Yes, and more than most fields, since customer insights analysis is fundamentally a desk-based, data-driven role. About 67% of customer insights analyst openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of October 2026, reflecting how broadly this work can be done off-site. The portions of the role most commonly performed remotely include data analysis, report writing, and stakeholder presentations, while user research sessions or in-person workshops are more likely to require on-site presence.
How can I get hired as a customer insights analyst in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a marketing research coordinator, data analyst, or CRM associate role at a large Florida employer, then building toward a customer insights title. Major Florida retail and hospitality organizations such as Publix, Disney, and Carnival often post entry-level consumer research or analytics associate positions. Completing a Google Data Analytics or similar certification and building a portfolio of self-directed customer analysis projects gives candidates a measurable edge over applicants with no demonstrated analytical output.
