About the Role
The Community Success Manager (CSM) serves as the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of multifamily clients, guiding them through onboarding, adoption, optimization, and long-term success with the iApartments platform.
This role is equal parts relationship management, technical coordination, and operational execution.
You’ll work directly with onsite teams, regional leadership, asset managers, and ownership groups to ensure successful implementation, strong adoption, and a positive overall client experience.
This role requires strong communication, technical confidence, frequent travel, and the ability to navigate complex situations while maintaining trust and momentum.
The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, solutions-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where processes evolve as the company grows.
Location Requirement:
This is a remote position based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Candidates must reside within the DFW metroplex due to frequent local and national travel requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of multifamily client accounts and serve as the primary point of contact
- Lead onboarding, implementation planning, and training for new communities
- Conduct in-person and virtual client training on platform functionality, hardware, and service workflows
- Travel 50–75% to support onboarding, training, and client relationship management
- Coordinate across Support, Service, Product, and Engineering to drive issue resolution
- Manage escalations and maintain client confidence during active issues
- Communicate clearly and professionally, even when timelines or resolutions are still being developed
- Set expectations and provide proactive follow-up throughout the client lifecycle
- Identify adoption gaps and opportunities to improve platform utilization
- Identify account growth opportunities, cross-sell opportunities, and service expansion needs
- Track account activity, escalations, and client health in Salesforce
- Create and maintain training materials, guides, and process documentation
- Gather client feedback and communicate product improvement opportunities internally
- Support rollout of new products, pilots, and operational initiatives
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong client relationship and account management skills
- Technical aptitude and comfort learning connected technology systems
- Ability to explain technical platforms and troubleshooting steps clearly to non-technical audiences
- Comfortable presenting to groups both in person and virtually
- Highly organized with strong time management and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
- Calm under pressure and comfortable navigating ambiguity
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Startup mindset with flexibility and ownership mentality
Preferred Experience
- 2+ years of experience managing a portfolio of client accounts in Customer Success, Account Management, Client Services, SaaS, PropTech, or a related field
- Experience handling escalations and complex customer needs
- Experience leading client onboarding, implementation, or training
- Experience in multifamily housing, PropTech, smart home technology, or another technology-driven environment is a plus
