- Stay aware of oil changes, tire wear, DEF, maintenance schedules, and other service needs
- Report maintenance needs, damage, warning lights, or driving issues immediately
- Take pride in caring for company vehicles and equipment
- Jump in wherever needed when the operation is busy
This Is Very Physical Work
This is not a sit-and-drive-only position.
You will regularly be moving:

- Repeated loads throughout the day
Expect regular lifting, carrying, bending, pushing, pulling, loading, unloading, walking, and working in coolers and freezers.

Delivery Driver Jobs in Ohio: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a delivery driver in Ohio?
Most delivery driver positions in Ohio require a valid Ohio driver's license issued by the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check. CDL-required roles additionally require a Commercial Driver's License obtained through the Ohio BMV, including a written knowledge test and a skills road test. No college degree is required for most positions, and many employers hire candidates immediately after license verification.
Which companies hire delivery drivers in Ohio?
Ohio delivery driver roles are posted by Domino's, Donatos Pizza, and Gordon Food Service and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of October 2026. Ohio's dense network of distribution centers, regional freight hubs, and last-mile logistics operations means openings appear consistently across both large national carriers and regional courier services throughout the state.
Which Ohio cities have the most delivery driver jobs?
Columbus, Cincinnati, and Findlay have the most delivery driver openings in Ohio. Columbus anchors the market as the state's largest city and a major e-commerce distribution hub, while Cleveland and Cincinnati generate sustained volume through their manufacturing corridors, dense residential populations, and established freight infrastructure that keeps regional carriers and national carriers both actively hiring.
Are there remote delivery driver jobs in Ohio?
Yes, but they're rare. Delivery driving is an inherently hands-on, on-route role that cannot be performed remotely. About 0% of delivery driver openings tied to Ohio are remote or hybrid as of October 2026, and those exceptions typically involve dispatch coordination, route planning, or logistics support functions rather than active driving duties.
How can I get hired as a delivery driver in Ohio with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying directly to package delivery associate or driver helper roles at large Ohio distribution operations, where on-the-job training is standard and no prior delivery experience is required. Amazon's delivery service partner network in Columbus and Cleveland actively hires entry-level drivers. Seasonal peak programs at UPS and FedEx facilities across Ohio routinely convert to permanent positions. Holding a current, clean Ohio driver's license is the single credential that gives candidates the clearest advantage over other applicants.
Where can I find and apply to delivery driver jobs in Ohio?
You can find and apply to delivery driver jobs in Ohio on Migrate Mate, which lists current Ohio openings across cities and employer types. Find roles that fit your license class, availability, and preferred delivery type, then apply directly to each one.
