Digital Marketing Account Manager – Outdoor Industry
Location: Austin, TX – Lakeway/Bee Cave
Schedule: Full-time, hybrid; Monday–Wednesday in office
Salary: $50,000–$55,000, based on experience

Deer Camp Digital is a fast-growing digital marketing, media, and technology company serving leading brands across hunting, fishing, ranch real estate, conservation, agriculture, and the outdoor industry.
We are looking for a sharp, highly organized Account Manager who genuinely wants to build a career in the outdoor industry. You must love this world, believe in our clients, and enjoy helping their businesses grow.
This is not an entry-level position. We expect the right candidate may be an early-career professional with a few strong years of agency experience who is ready to take on more responsibility and become a key part of a growing company.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for 5–7 outdoor-focused client accounts.
- Build strong client relationships through regular calls, emails, and proactive communication.
- Think daily about what is best for each client, not simply what task is due next.
- Manage account calendars, deliverables, deadlines, approvals, and follow-up.
- Keep social media, blogs, website updates, support requests, and other client needs on track.
- Create and edit social media reels using CapCut and Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Stay current on social media trends and adapt them for outdoor brands.
- Coordinate with our video, website, SEO, advertising, and creative teams.
- Review work carefully before it reaches the client.
- Identify opportunities to improve, retain, and grow accounts.
- Handle the small details without needing to be repeatedly reminded or followed up with.
Who We’re Looking For
You are highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable managing several accounts with different priorities at the same time. You learn quickly, take direction well, and follow through without making excuses.
You are equally comfortable editing a reel, joining a client call, following up on a website issue, reviewing a blog, or coordinating deliverables across the team.
Most importantly, you want to be in the outdoor industry. You enjoy learning about our clients, understanding their businesses, and figuring out what will help each one succeed. This job will push you to think for multiple clients every day—but if you love this kind of work, you are going to have a lot of fun here.
Required Experience
- At least two years of digital marketing agency experience.
- Experience directly managing client accounts and relationships.
- Strong working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Proficiency with CapCut and experience with Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple deadlines and client requests simultaneously.
- Working knowledge of content planning, digital advertising, SEO, blogs, and website workflows.
- A genuine passion for the outdoor industry and the clients we serve.
- Must live in the Austin area and be available to work from our Lakeway/Bee Cave office.
Preferred Experience
- Experience serving outdoor, ranch real estate, hunting, fishing, agriculture, or lifestyle brands.
- Personal experience or strong connections within the outdoor industry.
- Experience coordinating photo and video projects.
- Familiarity with WordPress, Canva, Meta Ads, Google Ads, and project-management platforms.
