Summary
The primary role of the Digital Sales Representative (DSR) is to increase revenue from digital marketing services (DMS) by meeting or exceeding revenue objectives.
The primary focus is to develop new business sales through prospecting and relationship building with SMBs. You will determine the right omnichannel marketing mix to create solutions that satisfy client needs and deliver a solid return on investment. In this role, you will manage a defined territory, including identifying new business.
The DSR must conduct a comprehensive needs analysis and develop proposals for strategic digital marketing solutions to help clients meet their marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Consistently meet and exceed all revenue targets, with revenue performance as the top priority.
- Develop and demonstrate expert knowledge of the DMS product offerings and transfer that knowledge to clients.
- Engage and strategize with advertising clients to demonstrate our value proposition and help them meet their marketing objectives across digital media.
- Drive customer retention through responsiveness, value delivery, and excellent customer service.
- Develop new business by understanding customer needs and selling products and services that deliver value.
- Understand and deliver clients’ online performance reports and dashboards to ensure we meet and exceed performance goals established at campaign launch.
- Follow Keene Sentinel's prescribed best practices for sales pipeline management and gap analysis, and complete all required sales process activities.
- Regularly meet with customers in person to support relationship-building and sales growth.
- Communicate effectively with management to provide accurate sales forecasts and market intelligence.
- Maintain the highest levels of personal and professional behavior in the workplace and in the market.
Postition Requirements

- High level of digital marketing acumen, including SEM, SEO, social media, digital display advertising using behavioral, geographic, and retargeting technologies, reputation monitoring services, video, CTV/OTT, and more.
- Knowledge of the competitive media and local market landscape, used for new business development and sales analysis.
- Ability to prospect for new business via cold calling and other prospecting techniques, including social media where applicable.
- Understand and articulate the value proposition of digital marketing services.
- High-energy, hunter mindset with the ability to consistently close new business and exceed sales targets.A track record of overcoming objections and achieving results.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and deliver effective presentations.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business preferred, or equivalent work experience in a media-related business.
- Must have 1 year of prior experience in digital marketing sales.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must satisfy each essential duty.
