E-3 Visa Brand Manager Jobs
Brand Manager roles in marketing, consumer goods, and tech qualify as E-3 specialty occupations when the position requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Australian citizens can secure E-3 visa sponsorship without entering an H-1B lottery, making U.S. brand roles more accessible than most professionals realise.

Frame your Australian credentials for U.S. employers
A three-year Australian bachelor's degree in marketing or communications is generally accepted as equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree for E-3 visa purposes. Get a credential evaluation before applying so employers don't stall on qualification questions.
Target employers with active LCA filing history
Search the DOL's Office of Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data for companies that have filed LCAs for marketing or brand roles. Prior filings signal familiarity with the E-3 process, which reduces employer hesitation at the offer stage.
Clarify the specialty occupation case before interviews
Brand Manager roles can face scrutiny if the job description accepts any bachelor's degree regardless of field. Confirm with the hiring team that the role genuinely requires a degree in marketing, business, or communications before you reach the offer stage.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service after your offer
Once you have a signed offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork. This removes the coordination burden from your employer and reduces the risk of documentation errors that delay your consulate appointment.
Understand the LCA wage requirement for your market
Your employer must certify to the DOL that your salary meets the prevailing wage for Brand Managers in the specific metropolitan area. Confirm the wage level before negotiating your package so there's no gap between your offer and what the LCA requires.
Prepare for nonimmigrant intent questions at your consulate
E-3 consular officers assess whether you intend to return to Australia. Bring documentation of ties at home, such as property, family, or professional memberships, alongside your employer's support letter and certified LCA.
E-3 Visa Brand Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Brand Manager jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for U.S. roles with E-3 sponsorship. Filter by job title and visa type to surface Brand Manager positions at employers already familiar with the E-3 process. Targeting companies with prior LCA filing history saves time compared to cold applications where you're educating the employer from scratch.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Brand Manager role qualify as an E-3 specialty occupation?
Yes, provided the employer's job description requires a bachelor's degree in a specific related field, such as marketing, communications, or business. The USCIS specialty occupation standard isn't met if the role accepts any degree regardless of field. Reviewing the job description's degree language before applying protects you from late-stage disqualification.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Brand Manager roles?
The E-3 has a 10,500 annual cap that has never been exhausted, so there's no lottery and no random selection. H-1B applicants in the same role face a cap of 65,000 with a registration lottery that selected roughly 25 percent of registrants in recent years. For Australian nationals, the E-3 is the more predictable and faster path to a U.S. Brand Manager role.
Can I change employers after starting work on an E-3?
Yes, but each new employer must file a fresh LCA with the DOL and you'll need to attend a new consulate appointment or apply for a change of status. You can't simply transfer your existing E-3 to a new company the way some other visa categories allow portability. Starting the process early after you accept a new offer avoids gaps in your work authorisation.
