ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Performance Marketing Manager will own and scale paid acquisition across key channels, partnering closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Data to drive efficient pipeline and revenue growth. This role blends hands-on campaign execution with strong analytical rigor and clear, cross-functional communication.
What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end performance marketing strategy and execution across paid social, paid display, and emerging channels (ChatGPT, etc.), including planning, launch, optimization, and measurement.
- Manage budgets and forecasting; allocate spend based on ROI/CAC targets and pipeline goals, and communicate tradeoffs clearly.
- Build and maintain a testing roadmap across ads, audiences, offers, landing pages, and funnel steps; run structured experiments and document learnings.
- Partner with Lifecycle/Email, Content, Creative, and Design to develop high-performing creative and landing page experiences.
- Partner with Sales/RevOps to align on lead quality definitions, routing, and pipeline attribution; improve conversion rates from lead → opportunity.
- Own channel-level reporting and performance narratives; create dashboards and weekly updates for stakeholders.
- Improve tracking and measurement (pixels, UTMs, conversion events), partnering with Data/Analytics and Engineering as needed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4–7 years of performance marketing experience, with hands-on ownership of paid acquisition and measurable growth impact.
- Strong analytical skills: comfortable with channel metrics (CAC, ROI, LTV, conversion rates), cohort thinking, and interpreting incrementality where possible.
- Experience managing meaningful budgets and optimizing toward business outcomes (pipeline and revenue), not just clicks.
- Excellent experimentation discipline: hypothesis-driven tests, sound measurement, and ability to translate results into next actions.
- Familiarity with modern ad platforms and tools (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn/Meta ads managers) and analytics tooling (e.g., GA4, Looker/Tableau, Amplitude/Mixpanel) plus attribution basics.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management; can align cross-functionally and move work forward in ambiguous environments.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bonus: B2B SaaS demand gen experience, landing page/CRO experience, and/or experience partnering on MMM or incrementality testing.

Translate your Australian credentials for U.S. employers
A three-year Australian bachelor's degree satisfies the E-3 visa specialty occupation requirement. Get a credential evaluation that explicitly maps your qualification to a U.S. bachelor's equivalency before you start applications, so no employer doubts your eligibility.
Target employers with active LCA filing history
Search the DOL's Office of Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data for companies that have filed LCAs for marketing roles. Employers already familiar with the LCA process are far less likely to stall or withdraw sponsorship over paperwork uncertainty.
Clarify the E-3 advantage early in interviews
Many U.S. hiring managers assume Australian candidates need H-1B visa sponsorship and factor in lottery risk. Proactively explain that the E-3 has no lottery, no employer lottery fee, and can be processed in weeks, not months, once an offer is signed.
Request LCA filing at the offer stage, not after
Your employer must file a certified LCA with the DOL before you can attend your consulate appointment. Raise this in the offer negotiation so HR initiates the process immediately, avoiding delays between your signed offer and your start date.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for end-to-end support
Once you have an offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork. This reduces errors that trigger consulate queries and gets your application to the interview stage faster than coordinating it across multiple parties.
Prepare performance evidence that maps to specialty occupation
Consular officers assess whether your role genuinely requires a degree. Bring portfolio evidence, such as attribution models, campaign analytics, or budget reports, that demonstrates the analytical depth of your work, not just job titles from your CV.
E-3 Visa Performance Marketing Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Performance Marketing Manager jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. It surfaces Performance Marketing Manager roles at U.S. employers with demonstrated sponsorship history, so you're not cold-applying to companies that will decline once they learn you need visa support. Filter by role and visa type to see active opportunities.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Performance Marketing Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the position requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as marketing, business, communications, or a related discipline. Roles focused on paid acquisition, performance analytics, or growth strategy consistently meet this standard. If the job description lists a degree as preferred rather than required, that can create complications at the consulate, so confirm the requirement is explicit before applying.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for a Performance Marketing Manager?
The E-3 is available only to Australian citizens, but if you qualify, it's meaningfully simpler. There's no annual lottery, no cap that fills within days, and no multi-year wait for a number to come up. Processing from a signed offer to a visa stamp typically runs four to eight weeks. H-1B sponsorship for the same role involves lottery selection, a longer employer commitment, and considerably higher filing costs.
Can I change Performance Marketing Manager roles while on an E-3?
Yes, but each new employer must file a fresh LCA with the DOL and you'll need a new E-3 stamp before re-entering the U.S., or a change of status if you're already here. There's no portability mechanism like the H-1B's AC21 rule, so plan your transition timeline around the filing and consulate appointment window, which typically takes three to six weeks.
