Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Center Director
Frame your Australian credentials for U.S. employers
A three-year Australian bachelor's degree is generally accepted as equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree for E-3 purposes. Get a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved evaluator before applying so employers aren't left guessing.
Target employers with existing LCA filing history
Organizations that have filed Labor Condition Applications before understand the DOL certification process. Search OFLC disclosure data to identify nonprofits, healthcare networks, and education groups that regularly sponsor director-level roles.
Clarify the specialty occupation question early
Not every Center Director role qualifies as a specialty occupation. Confirm the job description explicitly requires a degree in a specific field, not just any bachelor's degree, before asking an employer to begin sponsorship.
Negotiate who handles the LCA filing
Some employers assume you'll manage the filing yourself. Align on this before accepting an offer. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork so neither side is caught unprepared at the consulate stage.
Build your employment verification readiness
USCIS and E-Verify compliance is a real concern for employers hiring foreign nationals in director roles. Come prepared with your Tax File Number equivalent (SSN or ITIN), work history documentation, and references that can confirm your leadership scope.
Search for Center Director roles on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate lists Center Director positions from employers with verified E-3 sponsorship history, so you're not wasting time on roles that won't support your visa. Filter by industry and location to focus your search from the start.

Find Center Director JobsCenter Director E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I find Center Director jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to search for Center Director roles with E-3 sponsorship. It surfaces positions from employers who have demonstrated willingness to sponsor Australian nationals, filtering out roles where sponsorship isn't available. You can search by industry, location, and role type to find positions that match your background.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Center Director role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3 visa?
A Center Director role qualifies as a specialty occupation when the position genuinely requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field, such as education, social work, public administration, or business. If the job description accepts any degree regardless of field, USCIS may not consider it a specialty occupation. The specificity of the degree requirement in the job posting is the determining factor.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Australian Center Director candidates?
The E-3 is significantly more practical for Australians than the H-1B. There's no lottery, so your application isn't subject to random selection, and the annual cap of 10,500 has never been reached. You can apply at a U.S. consulate in Australia rather than waiting for USCIS adjudication, which typically means a faster path from offer to start date.
Can I switch Center Director employers while on an E-3 visa?
Yes, but your E-3 status is tied to your current employer and approved LCA. If you accept a new Center Director role, your new employer must file a new LCA with the DOL and you'll need to obtain a new E-3 visa stamp before starting. You can't begin work for the new employer until that process is complete.
