Intuitive is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We provide equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants and employees, and prohibit discrimination and harassment of any type, without regard to race, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, color, age, religion, protected veteran or disability status, genetic information or any other status protected under federal, state, or local applicable laws.
U.S. Export Controls Disclaimer: In accordance with the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (15 CFR §743.13(b)), some roles at Intuitive Surgical may be subject to U.S. export controls for prospective employees who are nationals from countries currently on embargo or sanctions status.
Certain information you provide as part of the application will be used for purposes of determining whether Intuitive Surgical will need to (i) obtain an export license from the U.S. Government on your behalf (note: the government’s licensing process can take 3 to 6+ months) or (ii) implement a Technology Control Plan (“TCP”) (note: typically adds 2 weeks to the hiring process).
For any Intuitive role subject to export controls, final offers are contingent upon obtaining an approved export license and/or an executed TCP prior to the prospective employee’s start date, which may or may not be flexible, and within a timeframe that does not unreasonably impede the hiring need. If applicable, candidates will be notified and instructed on any requirements for these purposes.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target compensation ranges are listed.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Demand Planner
Frame your Australian credentials for U.S. employers
A three-year Australian bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or business satisfies the E-3 specialty occupation requirement. Translate your qualifications into U.S. equivalents on your resume so hiring managers don't flag a credential gap during sponsorship screening.
Target employers with active supply chain functions
Search for companies with dedicated S&OP, inventory management, or procurement teams rather than generalist hiring. Retail, consumer goods, and manufacturing firms run structured demand planning cycles and are more likely to have established processes for E-3 sponsorship.
Search for E-3 sponsorship roles using Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Demand Planner roles by employers who have sponsored E-3 or H-1B visas before. Filtering for prior sponsorship history cuts out companies that will stall or withdraw offers once they learn what filing involves.
Raise the visa timeline before your final interview
The employer must file the Labor Condition Application with DOL before you can attend your consulate appointment. Bring up the E-3 process in the offer stage, not after signing, so the LCA filing doesn't delay your start date by weeks.
Confirm your job description meets specialty occupation standards
Your offer letter and job description need to specify that a bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, not preferred. Demand Planner roles that list only 'analytical experience' without a degree requirement can draw scrutiny at the consulate, so work with your employer to tighten the language.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to manage your LCA and consulate prep
The LCA must be certified by DOL before your visa interview, and consulate documentation requirements are specific to your role. Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service handles the end-to-end process so filing errors don't cost you your start date.

Find Demand Planner JobsDemand Planner E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Demand Planner jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Use Migrate Mate to search Demand Planner roles filtered by employers with prior E-3 or H-1B sponsorship history. Most general job searches don't surface sponsorship willingness, so filtering by filing history is the fastest way to reach hiring managers who already understand what an Australian work visa requires and won't stall at the offer stage.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Demand Planner role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the position requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as supply chain management, operations research, business, or a related discipline. The degree must be a genuine requirement of the role, not a preference. If the job description is vague about educational requirements, ask your employer to specify the degree field before the LCA is filed with DOL.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Demand Planner roles?
The E-3 is available only to Australian citizens but has no lottery, no annual cap, and no registration fee. You can file and get approved year-round. The H-1B is open to all nationalities but is subject to an annual lottery with roughly 25% selection odds. For Australians, the E-3 is a direct path to a Demand Planner role without the uncertainty of a lottery miss.
What happens to my E-3 status if my employer's supply chain restructuring eliminates my role?
You have a 60-day grace period from the end of your employment to find a new E-3-eligible employer, change to another visa status, or depart the U.S. Your new employer must file a fresh LCA with DOL and you'll need a new visa stamp if yours has expired. Starting that process quickly matters because consulate appointment availability varies by location.
