DESCRIPTION
At Amazon, data is critical to everything we do, from understanding product inventories across our global fulfillment centers to predicting what products to recommend to customers. Data ceaselessly informs our flywheel, helping us to understand customer needs, onboard new sellers and selection, and identify opportunities for cost savings. Business Data Technologies (BDT) provides trustworthy, intuitive, and cost-efficient solutions for Amazonians to secure, store, analyze, and transform this data at unparalleled scale. BDT owns, develops, and operates Andes, one of the largest data lakes in the world, storing 3+ exabytes of data, read/written to by 100k+ data pipelines, with >60k monthly active users. To do this, we need extraordinary individuals to build the next generation of data analytics, machine learning, and AI solutions for thousands of scientists, engineers, and analysts who rely upon us to get their jobs done.

As a Principal Technical Program Manager in the BDT-AI4ME organization, you understand ways that enterprises apply AI to solve business and technical problems. Key job responsibilities
You focus on the needs of business users as they navigate data from question to insight. You formulate goals and plans for transforming the ways Amazon extracts value from its data through iterative improvements involving AI enablement, process optimization, role guidelines, and org design.
As part of a broader team, you collaborate with other technical program managers to ensure that work in your space aligns with work and plans of other teams across BDT and other organizations. You establish mechanisms for inspection and awareness of progress across cross cutting initiatives.
Data drives your “flywheel”. You analyze data to glean insights that drive experimentation. You leverage data such as service telemetry, user feedback, and industry trends to surface opportunities for improvement. You take what’s proven and partner with Amazon organizations to apply and scale it. You define, implement, and monitor metrics that track your progress.
You partner with Amazon’s business orgs to test hypotheses and deploy AI-based solutions to reduce friction and risk of errors in the ways that businesses use data.
You give feedback on narratives, contribute to strategy (e.g., OP1 planning), set goals, discuss weekly business metrics, and more.
You partner with Amazon’s PXT organization to evolve and optimize roles guidelines and org design best practices to align with the way businesses are evolving their practices around getting insights from their data.
You partner with engineering, human resources, legal, documentation, solution architecture, privacy, finance, and more to optimize usage of the Andes data lake for AI-based methodologies.
As an owner, you hold yourself and partners accountable for the highest quality user outcomes.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as an Enterprise Account Manager
Frame your degree for specialty occupation
E-3 visa requires your bachelor's degree to align with the Enterprise Account Manager role. A degree in business, marketing, communications, or information systems satisfies this. An unrelated degree needs supporting documentation showing field equivalency.
Target employers with existing LCA history
Search the DOL's Office of Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data for employers who have filed LCAs for account management or enterprise sales roles. Prior filings signal a structured sponsorship process, not a first-time scramble.
Clarify sponsorship before salary negotiation
Ask whether the employer has filed an LCA before and who manages the process internally. Many U.S. companies confuse E-3 with H-1B visa and assume a lottery is involved. Correcting this early prevents the offer from stalling over a misunderstanding.
Get your employment offer letter right
Your offer letter must specify the job title, role duties, start date, and that the position requires a degree. Consulate officers use this document to verify specialty occupation status, so vague titles like 'sales lead' or missing degree requirements create interview risk.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for the LCA
The LCA must be certified by the DOL before your consulate appointment. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork so your employer isn't navigating the FLAG portal and prevailing wage requirements on their own.
Search specifically for E-3 sponsorship roles
Use Migrate Mate to search Enterprise Account Manager jobs filtered by E-3 sponsorship. Generic job searches surface roles where sponsorship status is unknown, which wastes time on applications that stall at the offer stage.
E-3 Visa Enterprise Account Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Enterprise Account Manager jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lists Enterprise Account Manager roles filtered by E-3 visa sponsorship, so you're only seeing positions where the employer is open to the process. Searching without that filter means manually qualifying each employer on sponsorship willingness, which adds weeks to your timeline and often leads nowhere.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does an Enterprise Account Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the employer requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, marketing, or information systems. The role must genuinely require that degree, not just prefer it. If the job description lists the degree as preferred rather than required, the LCA and consulate interview become harder to support.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Enterprise Account Manager roles?
The E-3 has no annual cap and no lottery, so you can apply at any time once you have a job offer. The H-1B is subject to an annual lottery with roughly a one-in-four selection rate. For Australian professionals in account management roles, the E-3 is a direct path that doesn't depend on a random draw.
What happens to my E-3 status if I change employers or get promoted?
Changing employers requires a new LCA and a new visa. You can remain in the U.S. while the new employer completes the LCA filing, but you cannot start work until the new E-3 is approved. A promotion within the same company generally doesn't require a new visa unless the job title and duties change substantially enough to alter the specialty occupation classification.
