Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Growth Manager
Frame your credentials for U.S. specialty occupation
Your Australian bachelor's degree qualifies, but your offer letter must specify that the Growth Manager role requires a degree in a relevant field. If the job description says 'preferred' rather than 'required,' push the employer to revise it before filing.
Target employers with active LCA filing history
Search the DOL's Office of Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data for companies that have filed LCAs for growth, marketing, or product roles. Past filings signal an employer already understands the E-3 process and won't stall at the sponsorship conversation.
Lead with the E-3 advantage in employer conversations
When a hiring manager raises visa concerns, explain that the E-3 has no lottery, no cap backlog, and can be processed in weeks, not months. That distinction removes the biggest objection employers have to sponsoring international hires.
Get your LCA certified before your consulate appointment
Your employer must file the Labor Condition Application with DOL and receive certification before you can attend your visa interview. DOL targets a seven business day turnaround, so confirm your employer has submitted it with enough lead time.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for end-to-end support
Once you have an offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork. This is especially useful if your employer has no prior E-3 experience and needs guidance from LCA submission through to your consulate appointment.
Clarify employment structure before your visa interview
Growth Manager roles at startups sometimes involve contractor arrangements or equity-heavy packages. The E-3 requires a traditional employer-employee relationship with a guaranteed wage, so confirm your offer reflects a standard salaried position before your interview.

Find Growth Manager JobsGrowth Manager E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Growth Manager jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for U.S. roles that come with E-3 sponsorship. Rather than filtering through general job boards and guessing which employers will sponsor, Migrate Mate surfaces Growth Manager roles at companies already open to the E-3 visa process, saving you the back-and-forth with HR teams unfamiliar with Australian visa options.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Growth Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the position genuinely requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as marketing, business analytics, or economics. The role must be structured so that the degree is a prerequisite, not just a preference. Vague job descriptions that accept any degree field can complicate the specialty occupation determination, so ask your employer to tighten the educational requirement in the offer letter.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Growth Manager roles?
The E-3 is available only to Australian citizens, but it has no annual cap and no lottery. H-1B applicants enter a randomised selection process each April, with no guarantee of a slot. For a Growth Manager with an Australian passport, the E-3 means you can start work within weeks of receiving an offer rather than waiting up to a year for an H-1B to clear, assuming one is selected at all.
Can I switch Growth Manager roles while on an E-3 visa?
You can change employers on the E-3, but your new employer must file a fresh LCA with DOL and the role must independently qualify as a specialty occupation. There's no portability rule like AC21 for H-1B holders, so you should not resign from your current role until the new LCA is certified and your updated visa documentation is in order.
