Amex Ventures is seeking a highly motivated individual to be an integral part of the Ventures Portfolio Management group by supporting the team’s operations, including portfolio reporting, managing transaction related processes and deriving insights from our investment activity.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* The role is a multi-faceted one and requires both analytical and interpersonal skill sets
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 3-4 years previous experience must include financial or operational background (familiarity with financial statements)
* Comfortable working with large data sets & synthesizing insights
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Financial, analytical and valuation skills
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders and to collaborate with others to drive results
* Interest in the startup ecosystem
* Knowledge of Cobalt PM Software a plus
* Bachelor’s degree required
