E-3 Visa Pr Manager Jobs
PR Manager roles in communications, public affairs, and corporate reputation qualify as E-3 specialty occupations when the position requires a relevant bachelor's degree. Australian professionals can secure E-3 visa sponsorship without entering a lottery, and employers typically need only a certified LCA before your consulate appointment, making the timeline far shorter than H-1B.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a senior PR professional to help scale our communications and build a consistent, high-quality media presence. This role will partner closely with the Head of Communications, combining strong execution with the ability to shape narratives and contribute to overall strategy.
You will play a key role in turning company developments into stories that resonate — with media, partners, and broader audiences.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Drive a steady pipeline of meaningful media coverage across top-tier tech and business outlets, local media, and relevant industry-specific publications
- Build and leverage strong relationships with journalists, editors, and contributors across relevant media
- Identify and develop compelling story angles based on company developments, partnerships, and product milestones
- Own the full media cycle: from idea generation and pitching to securing coverage and managing follow-ups
- Write and refine high-quality materials, including press releases, pitches, bylines, engaging blog posts, and executive talking points
- Partner with teams across the company (product, engineering, business, leadership) to surface newsworthy moments
- Support communications for launches, partnerships, and market expansions
- Contribute to broader communications strategy, bringing ideas and perspective on positioning and messaging
- Support cross-functional communications initiatives, including marketing, sales, and employer branding / HR-related projects when needed
- An experienced PR professional with a strong track record of securing media coverage in tech and/or business media
- Well-connected, with an existing network of journalist relationships you actively maintain
- Comfortable operating independently and driving outcomes end-to-end
- A strong writer with the ability to craft clear, compelling narratives from complex or technical topics
- Curious and proactive — you don’t wait for stories, you find and shape them
- Confident collaborating with stakeholders at different levels, including senior leadership
- Able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Experience with social media as an extension of PR efforts — amplifying coverage, shaping narratives, and engaging audiences — is a strong plus
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in high-growth tech companies or emerging technology sectors (e.g., autonomous systems, robotics, AI)
- Experience working across multiple markets or with international media
- Background in both in-house and agency environments
Candidates are required to be authorized to work in the U.S. The employer is not offering relocation sponsorship, and remote work options are not available.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Pr Manager
Frame your Australian PR credentials precisely
U.S. consular officers assess whether your degree field directly supports the PR Manager role. A communications, marketing, or journalism degree strengthens your case; a general business degree needs supporting documentation showing how your coursework maps to the specialty occupation definition.
Target employers with existing communications infrastructure
Companies with in-house PR teams or active agency retainers already understand the role's specialty occupation requirements. Targeting these employers shortens the internal approval process because HR doesn't need to build a sponsorship case from scratch.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for your paperwork
Once your employer is on board, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork end-to-end. This prevents the common mistake of employers filing the LCA too late and delaying your consulate appointment.
Search PR Manager roles filtered by E-3 sponsorship
Finding employers who will sponsor an E-3 visa is the hardest part of this process. Migrate Mate surfaces PR Manager roles from employers with active E-3 and LCA filing history so you're not cold-applying and explaining the visa from scratch.
Prepare for consulate questions about role scope
Sydney and Melbourne consular officers sometimes probe whether a PR Manager role genuinely requires a degree-level specialist. Bring your offer letter, job description, and degree transcripts, and be ready to explain why the position can't be filled by a generalist.

Find Pr Manager JobsPr Manager E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find PR Manager jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to search. It filters PR Manager roles by employers who have filed LCAs or sponsored E-3 visas before, which means you're not wasting applications on companies that will reject sponsorship at the offer stage. Standard job searches don't surface this information, so you end up discovering the sponsorship barrier only after interviews.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a PR Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, if the position requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as communications, public relations, journalism, or marketing. The specialty occupation test turns on whether the degree requirement is genuine and specific to the role. Generic job postings that list a degree as preferred rather than required can create problems at the LCA stage, so your offer letter should state the requirement explicitly.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for PR Manager roles?
For Australian PR professionals, the E-3 is a substantially faster path. There's no lottery, no annual cap pressure, and the employer's obligation is limited to filing a certified LCA with the DOL before your consulate appointment. H-1B requires a lottery selection, an October start date, and a significantly longer employer filing process. E-3 also allows indefinite two-year renewals, making it stable for long-term PR career growth in the U.S.
Can I change PR Manager roles or employers while on an E-3?
Yes, but each new employer must file a fresh LCA before you begin work. You don't need to leave the U.S. to change jobs if you're maintaining valid E-3 status, but you cannot start with the new employer until the DOL certifies the new LCA. Build at least four to six weeks of lead time into any job transition to avoid a gap in authorized employment.
