As part of a broader team, you collaborate with other technical program managers to ensure that work in your space aligns with work and plans of other teams across BDT and other organizations. You establish mechanisms for inspection and awareness of progress across cross cutting initiatives.
Data drives your “flywheel”. You analyze data to glean insights that drive experimentation. You leverage data such as service telemetry, user feedback, and industry trends to surface opportunities for improvement. You take what’s proven and partner with Amazon organizations to apply and scale it. You define, implement, and monitor metrics that track your progress.
You partner with Amazon’s business orgs to test hypotheses and deploy AI-based solutions to reduce friction and risk of errors in the ways that businesses use data.
You give feedback on narratives, contribute to strategy (e.g., OP1 planning), set goals, discuss weekly business metrics, and more.
You partner with Amazon’s PXT organization to evolve and optimize roles guidelines and org design best practices to align with the way businesses are evolving their practices around getting insights from their data.
You partner with engineering, human resources, legal, documentation, solution architecture, privacy, finance, and more to optimize usage of the Andes data lake for AI-based methodologies.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Senior Customer Marketing Manager
Align your CV to U.S. specialty occupation standards
Reframe your experience around measurable customer marketing outcomes, retention rates, NPS improvements, lifecycle revenue, rather than responsibilities. U.S. hiring managers and DOL LCA reviewers both need to see that the role requires a specific marketing degree, not just any bachelor's.
Target employers with active LCA filing history
Search the DOL's Office of Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data for companies that have filed LCAs for marketing manager roles. This confirms they've sponsored before and understand the E-3 visa process, cutting down on internal legal education on your end.
Clarify the E-3 advantage during offer negotiations
When an employer raises visa concerns, explain that the E-3 requires no lottery, no attorney-heavy PERM process, and can be filed in weeks, not months. This directly addresses the most common reason U.S. companies hesitate to sponsor Australian candidates.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for the LCA and paperwork
Once you have an offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork end-to-end. The LCA must be DOL-certified before your consulate appointment, and errors at this stage can delay your start date significantly.
Verify your Australian degree meets the specialty occupation test
A three-year Australian bachelor's in marketing, business, or communications is generally accepted as equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree for E-3 purposes. If your degree is in an unrelated field, gather documentation showing how progressive marketing experience substitutes under USCIS evaluation standards.
Prepare for consulate questions on customer marketing scope
Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth consular officers may ask how your role differs from a general marketing or sales position. Have a clear, jargon-free explanation of customer lifecycle strategy, retention programs, and why the position requires your specific academic background.
E-3 Visa Senior Customer Marketing Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Senior Customer Marketing Manager jobs with E-3 sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for U.S. roles that include E-3 visa sponsorship. Rather than filtering through general job listings and guessing at sponsorship willingness, Migrate Mate surfaces employers actively open to E-3 candidates in marketing and customer growth roles, saving you the back-and-forth with companies unfamiliar with the visa.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Senior Customer Marketing Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the position genuinely requires a bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, communications, business, or a closely related field. Roles focused on customer lifecycle strategy, retention programs, or CRM-led growth typically meet the specialty occupation threshold. Where it gets complicated is if the job description is broad enough that any degree could satisfy the requirement, that ambiguity can create issues at the consulate or during LCA review.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for this type of marketing role?
The E-3 is meaningfully simpler for Senior Customer Marketing Manager roles. There's no lottery, no annual cap pressure, and the employer doesn't need to go through PERM labor certification. H-1B visa registration opens once a year in March, and selection is random, you could wait years without a result. With the E-3, an employer can file after an offer is made and have you starting within weeks of consulate approval.
Can I switch employers once I'm working in the U.S. on an E-3?
You can change employers, but you don't have automatic portability the way H-1B holders do under AC21. Your new employer needs to file a fresh LCA with the DOL and you'll typically need a new E-3 visa stamp before starting, which means a consulate appointment. Planning this around your current visa expiry and building in buffer time is important to avoid gaps in work authorization.
