Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Senior Director Of Product
Frame your degree for specialty occupation
A Senior Director of Product role must meet DOL's specialty occupation standard. If your Australian bachelor's degree is in a field adjacent to your product discipline, gather course transcripts and a credential evaluation letter to demonstrate field alignment before interviews begin.
Target companies with existing LCA filings
Search DOL's public LCA disclosure data for employers who have previously certified Labor Condition Applications for senior product or director-level roles. These companies already understand the E-3 filing sequence and are less likely to stall at the sponsorship conversation.
Raise E-3 sponsorship before the offer stage
Bring up E-3 sponsorship during the final interview round, not after you receive an offer. Senior director hiring involves legal and HR sign-off, and surfacing the visa requirement early gives the employer time to brief their counsel without delaying your start date.
Clarify the LCA wage level with HR
E-3 requires the offered salary to meet the prevailing wage for the role's SOC code and location. Ask HR to confirm which wage level the LCA will be filed at before you sign. A Level III or IV designation for a senior director role is standard and affects your LCA certification timeline.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service end-to-end
Once you have an offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA certification, DS-160, and consulate preparation. This matters for senior director hires where delays between offer and start date can affect project timelines and employer confidence.
Prepare for nonimmigrant intent questions at the consulate
Consular officers assess whether you intend to return to Australia. Senior director candidates sometimes receive more scrutiny because the role implies long-term commitment. Prepare a clear, factual account of your ties to Australia alongside your offer letter and LCA documentation.

Find Senior Director Of Product JobsSenior Director Of Product E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Senior Director of Product jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. It filters Senior Director of Product roles by employers willing to sponsor the E-3 visa, so you're not manually screening hundreds of listings. Because E-3 sponsorship depends on employer willingness to file an LCA rather than a quota, the pool of qualifying roles is broader than most Australians expect.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Senior Director of Product role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, in most cases. USCIS requires the role to normally require at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. Senior Director of Product positions typically require a degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a closely related discipline, which satisfies the specialty occupation standard. Roles that accept any degree regardless of field can create problems, so reviewing the job description before filing matters.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for a Senior Director of Product role?
The E-3 has a significant practical advantage: no lottery. H-1B selection runs once a year with roughly a 25 percent chance of selection for most applicants. The E-3 has a 10,500 annual allocation that has never been filled, so you can accept an offer and begin the filing process immediately. Both visas require specialty occupation and prevailing wage compliance, and both are employer-sponsored.
Can I switch companies while on an E-3 in a Senior Director of Product role?
Yes, but the new employer must file a fresh LCA and you'll need a new E-3 visa stamp before or shortly after starting. Unlike H-1B portability, the E-3 does not allow you to begin working for a new employer while a transfer petition is pending. Plan for a consulate appointment, which at Australian posts typically takes two to four weeks to complete.
