E-3 Visa Talent Acquisition Intern Jobs
Talent Acquisition Intern roles in the U.S. qualify for E-3 visa sponsorship when the position requires a bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, or a related field. The E-3 has no lottery and no annual cap, so Australian professionals can apply as soon as they secure a qualifying offer from a U.S. employer willing to file a Labor Condition Application.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Talent Acquisition Intern
Frame your degree for specialty occupation
Talent acquisition intern roles must require a specific bachelor's degree to meet the E-3 specialty occupation standard. A degree in human resources, industrial-organizational psychology, or business with an HR concentration is stronger than a general business degree when an employer files your LCA.
Target employers already running structured internship programs
Companies with formal internship cohorts have HR and legal infrastructure in place to file LCAs. Employers running rotational intern programs in people operations or recruiting are more likely to have handled E-3 or H-1B paperwork before and won't treat your sponsorship request as novel.
Search for E-3 sponsorship roles on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters roles by E-3 sponsorship history so you're not cold-applying to employers who have never filed for Australian nationals. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork once you receive an offer.
Confirm your offer letter specifies full-time hours
DOL requires the LCA to reflect the actual position, including hours and worksite. An internship offer structured as part-time or project-based can complicate the LCA filing. Get written confirmation that the role is full-time and tied to a fixed U.S. worksite address before your employer submits the application.
Prepare your credential equivalency documentation early
Australian three-year bachelor's degrees are generally accepted as equivalent to U.S. four-year degrees for E-3 purposes, but your employer's legal team may request a credential evaluation. Gather your official transcripts and request a course-by-course evaluation before you receive a conditional offer.

Find Talent Acquisition Intern JobsTalent Acquisition Intern E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Talent Acquisition Intern jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to search for Talent Acquisition Intern roles with confirmed E-3 sponsorship history. Most general job boards don't filter by visa type, so you end up cold-applying to employers who may have no experience filing an LCA. Migrate Mate surfaces employers who have already sponsored E-3 or related visas, which means less time educating recruiters and more time interviewing.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Talent Acquisition Intern role actually qualify as an E-3 specialty occupation?
It can, but the role description matters. The position must require a bachelor's degree in a specific field, typically human resources, industrial-organizational psychology, or a closely related discipline. A generic internship posting that lists a degree as preferred rather than required will not meet the specialty occupation standard. Ask your employer to confirm the degree requirement is written into the formal job description before the LCA is filed with the DOL.
How does E-3 compare to H-1B for Talent Acquisition Intern roles?
The E-3 is substantially easier to obtain for this role type. H-1B has an annual cap of 65,000 slots and a lottery, so even a qualified candidate may not be selected. The E-3 has a 10,500 annual allocation that has never been exhausted, meaning there is no lottery and no waiting period tied to the fiscal year. For an internship that may convert to a full-time role, E-3 also allows indefinite two-year renewals, giving you a longer runway than a single H-1B cap year.
Can I start the internship before my E-3 visa is approved?
No. You must have an approved E-3 visa stamp before you can begin work in the U.S. in E-3 status. The LCA must be certified by the DOL first, typically within seven business days, and then you attend a consulate interview in Australia to receive the visa stamp. Starting work before the stamp is issued would be a status violation, so align your internship start date with realistic consulate processing timelines at Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth.
